Part 7 - Me and Jaden

The sunlight streaming through the window wakes me gently. My iPhone tells me it's 9:00am. I stretch and yawn, before sliding my legs off of the bed and standing up. I see Jaden sleeping peacefully and smile to myself. I have no proper pyjamas so I am just wearing one of Jaden's old tops (which is way too big for me) and a pair of shorts. I walk through to the kitchen and open the fridge. Being careful not to drop any, I take out some eggs and start heating up a pan with butter in. I crack the eggs in, whisk, add milk and keep stirring. A little pepper, some toast and my work is done. Scrambled eggs on toast is the best breakfast, in my opinion.

Jaden walks in, pulling a t-shirt over his tousled hair. I giggle as he puts the shirt on backwards in his sleepy state, and walk over to help. Once he has it on the right way, I stand on tiptoes to give him a small kiss. He smiles and says,

"Smells great! Is there some for me?"

"Of course there is, sit at the table and I'll bring it over." I grab the two plates and cutlery and place them on the table. I switch the TV on so we can watch the news. With a glass of water, my breakfast is complete. Me and Jaden chat and watch TV until 10:00am.

I slip into a pink lacy dress (picutre in sidebar) and put on white pumps. It's too warm for a blazer or cardigan so I decide to go without. I grab some shades and head out.

"Jaden, I'm just going out for a bit with Willow. See you later!" I call down the corridor, and Jaden comes down the hallway and kisses me goodbye. Once out on the streets, I get my iPhone out of my handbag and ring Willow.

"Hey, where are you?" She immediately asks.

"I just got out of the flat, why? Is there something wrong?"

"No... it's.... it's nothing." She says, "Meet me at the mall, ok?"

"Sure!" I start walking as soon as she's hung up. The whole way there I can't help but hope something hasn't gone wrong. I spot her in a cofee shop, holding a polystyrene cup with shaky hands.But her face glows when she sees me, and I forget all of my worries. We chat over a coffee and chat about boys a lot. Obviously, we don't talk about me because I'm with her brother, Jaden, but we talk about her latest celebrity crushes. She surprises me a lot with different comments on celebrities such as Justin Beiber. When she mentions him I can't help but question it.

"Really? I didn't think you'd like a guy like him"

"What do you mean?" She sips her coffee and stares at me expectantly.

"Well, you know - the mainstream kinda guy. I mean, if you did get with him, wouldn't all the other girls trying to get him bother you?"

"Says you, going out with Jaden Smith!" A few other people look our way and we casually cover up our faces, hoping there's no paparazzi nearby. We laugh and get ready to go, leaving a large tip on the table.

Our day out shopping was amazing. We bought loads of outfits that were SO CUTE! We were obsessing with clothes, we spent the whole day shopping! I looked for the time on my phone and saw I had 2 Missed calls and 3 texts from Jaden. I opened them up.

"Hey baby, wat time u coming home? X"

"Brooke? U there?"

"Are you ignoring me? :( I have something for you "

I quickly type a reply,

"No baby, I just didn't check my phone. I'm on my way home, what is it? Willow has to go home to sort something out but she sends her love and she says she'll be in touch soon. Love you!"

Me and Willow say our goodbyes then go our seperate ways.

I have quite a few bags so I decide to take the bus home. Once I've paid, I walk to a small corner and sit by myself. As the bus sets off, I look out the window. We pass loads of super cute stores that I didn't have time to visit today; there are so many shops here.

Finally the bus stops and I get off. I walk with all of my bags hooked onto my arms into the flat.

"Jaden?"

"I'm in the living room!"

I dump my bags and shoes in the bedroom then walk down the hallway to the living room. Jaden is sat with a big box with a huge red ribbon on. 

"What's that?" I ask

"It's a present for you. Go on, open it!" He says with a mischevious look in his eyes. 

I walk up to the box and carefully undo the ribbon then lift off the lid slowly. I glance nervously at Jaden - why has he even got me a present? It's not my birthday or anything...

I hear a little squeaking noise and look inside the box; and the cutest little wrinkly face looks up at me.

"A pug?!" 

I lift it out of the box and hug it tight. 

"Oh my gosh Jaden thank you so much!! That's the best gift ever! You're so sweet!"

That night we go to sleep cuddling our new baby, Ami.

I thought that to get you guys more involved, then why not give you guys characters? I haven't seen anyone else do this, so I thought I'd give it a try and see what you guys thought!
