I was done, and out of breath. I had put a lot of effort into that song, I wanted to impress Teo. I opened my eyes and grinned at him. He was staring at me as he clicked the camera off and stopped the recording.

"Babe, that was... I didn't know you could sing like that! You're better than Alicia Keys!" he grinned and came up to me and hugged me. I was glad I had impressed him, and delighted he saw potential in me. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. It was Moises.

"There's a phone call for you" he said to Teo. Teo held his hand out for the phone but Moises said,

"They said it's private, but didn't say who it was."

Teo gave me an apologetic look.

"Won't be long babe" he winked as he walked out. I smiled to myself and busied myself with unpacking. I was putting stuff in the bedside cabinet when I saw Moises out of the corner of my eye, standing in the doorway.

"Can I help you?" I asked, irritated by him. He still hadn't apologised for earlier.

"That was really good by the way." I blushed. I hadn't realised he would have been able to hear me.

"Thanks." I didn't know what else to say, so I just carried on unpacking.

"What do you see in my brother?" his sudden question caught me off guard

"W-what?"

"I said, what do you see in Teo?"

"He's funny, kind and all I could ask for in a guy. Why do you wanna know?" I could see where this was going, and I didn't like it.

"Because I think you could do so much better, babe"

"Like what, you?"

"My thoughts exactly, princess."

"Don't call me that!" I snapped. But he ignored me and carried on.

"Moises and Brooke Arias. It just sounds right. Look, your beautiful, and me, well there's no words to describe me. We're a perfect match!"

"So you want me to dump Teo and go out with you?"

"Exactly." he started walking towards me.

"Back off Moises, this isn't cool."

"You know you love me. Come on, I'm a year older than Teo, so I have a years more experience."

"What's that supposed to

mean?" I was getting seriously creeped out.

"Whatever you want it to mean babe." He had me cornered. He leant in to kiss me but Teo walked in.

"Dude, what are you doing? I hope this isn't what it looks like!" Teo was fuming.

"Woah, woah, Tey Tey calm down. I was just... Uhh... helping Brooke unpack." He grabbed a book out of my hand and put it on my bedside cabinet. "See?"

"Whatever man, just get away from my girl." Moises walked quickly out of the room and winked at me when he was out of Teo's sight.

"You ok babe?"

"Yeah."

"He does that all the time, trying to wind me up. Messes around a lot. He acts as if he's a two year old, I can't believe he's older than me."

I just nodded, stunned.

"Do you wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure" I smiled, glad to get my mind off Moises. Teo went to the cabinet underneath the TV and turned to me.

"What movie do you wanna watch?"

"Uhm what have you got?"

"A load of Disney movies, The Kings Speech, Mean Girls, Kickass 1 and 2, uhm, Love Actually"

"Why are most of them girly movies?"

"Moises must have taken all of my action films to watch in the lounge. Any of those you like?"

"Yeah, let's watch Love Actually" it was one of my childhood favourites.

We snuggled up on the sofa which was amazingly comfy. Teo picked up a small remote and clicked a shaded in button and pointed at the window. I watched in awe as the windows dimmed and shut out the light from outsdie. He clicked play, passed me my water and chucked a packet of crisps at me, making me laugh as it hit me in the face.

"Oi!"

"Shh, the films started!" he poked me and I laughed. I put the water on the small extra table next to me, scared I would spill it on the beautiful sofa.

The movie was great. I quoted them many times, saying the words at the same time as the characters, making Teo laugh.

Teo's phone buzzed on the table. He read the text and typed a quick reply. He turned to me.

"What was that about?" I asked before he had a chance to say anything.

"Babe, do you wanna go to a party tonight?"

"What time?"

"About 10:30 ish. We can leave anytime if you feel tired babe"

"Fine" I sighed... What was supposed to be a nice weekend together was probably going to turn into me looking after Teo while he had hangovers.

The movie finished and we decided to get ready for the party, as it was quite far away from Teo's house.

I put on some makeup, finishing off with some thick black eyelash enhancing mascara. I was in a short black and white strapless dress, my best one. I was wearing black high heels, but they weren't ridiculously high.

We set off at 9:45 because we were about half an hour away, but we expected traffic. I spent most of the journey on my phone and lecturing Teo on not getting too drunk. He said that we could always get a taxi, or stay there overnight as it was his cousins party. Finally we arrived.
