Tessa Marsh: it's a long story, and not one I'd like you to know right now, I only told Ang last year and we've know each other scince primary
Brandon Fleet: what about that kiss though?
Tessa Marsh: I be honest, that was my first kiss, and it was amazing

Brandon Fleet: will you go out with me?
Tessa Marsh: Brandon, I've got a hell of a lot going on right now, so let me think about it for a bit okay? I'll get an answer to you asap
Brandon Fleet: I understand, and that's perfectly fine, I've got dinner now so I'll talk in about an hour

Oh god this has never happened before, I have two boys after me. What do I do?? Do I ask mum for advice, or Ang? I mean she is just as inexperienced as me, so I don't think she would help? How about thee powers and knowledge of google? I am so caught up with this all that I don't even hear my mum come into my room, ready to tell me the news that I had already heard the day before from Sophie Slut as I like to call her.
"Honey your dad has been arrested" her voice tries to stay calm but I can tell that it is quivering. After she found out what happened, she regretted ever staying with him.
"I heard" I don't really want to talk about him after the day I've had, so I just take the 'whatever' tone hoping she would go away
"They want you to do a statement hun"
"I've already done one"
"They lost it, they need another one, but Tessa, you do this and he goes down for good."
"I know I just can't do this right now"
"I know babe, we'll leave it for now, and talk tomorrow when I get back from work, why don't you have a friend round, someone other than Ang. Surely you have some friends that are boys"
"Really mum? Sure I'll invite Brandon and Reece over"
"Two at a time huh?" She winks at me. Ew. No.
"Yeah, 3 way call of duty game"
"You nerd, now go to sleep"
"Night mum"
"Night Tessa" she kisses my forehead and leaves my room, turning the light out behind her. I fall asleep almost instantly. I didn't even need the comfort of my book for once.

A/N wow the longest chapter so far. Sorry about the dialogue, aha its currently 1am and I start work in 7 hours, imn so fucjed! But hey just come from Bridgwater carnival and that was good!
