Chapter 19:
The door opens and in walks the doctor.
"Good day Miley, I'm your doctor. You're probably a little confused right now?" He asks
"Yeah I can't remember anything." I say
"I know, that's because you suffered from some brain damage when you had you're accident, it caused you to loose your memory." He explains
"Will I ever get it back?" I ask
"There is a strong chance that you will, if you get your friend here to show you some photographs, take you places you always went and tell you about them and your life, it might just trigger the memories to come back." He smiles
"Great." I smile
Eleanor is holding a mirror in her hand.
I reach for it and hesitate before looking at my reflection.
"I recognise myself if that makes sense." I giggle
"That's a good start. Just get your friends to help you and you should be able to remember a lot more soon enough." The doctor smiles
"Ok I will thank you." I smile
"No problem, you are free to go home today, your tests have come back clear. Is there anyone here you feel most comfortable with?" He asks
"Um Eleanor." I say
He whispers something in her ear and she smiles before saying
"Miley, I'm going to take you home with me. I'm gonna try and help you remember things until you feel comfortable moving back in to your own home." She explains and I smile
"Where are my parents?" I ask
"At home looking after you're little sister lily, she got food poisoning and can't keep anything down. And they thought it was best that you came home when things weren't so chaotic." Eleanor says
"Oh okay, I hope she gets better." I say
I remember them more than the others, my mother had blonde hair and bright blue eyes, my dad was bald and had hazel eyes and Lily was a smaller version of me, long blonde hair and blue eyes. I remember picking up my little sister from school and sometimes as a treat I would take her for ice cream. I really miss Lily, and my parents.
Harry helped me out of bed and with my fist few steps before I got my balance.
"Thanks." I smile
"No problem miles." He grins causing his dimples to show
I poke at his dimples on his cheeks and giggle before saying
"I like you you're really cute." I giggle
He freezes at my words, the blonde haired boy runs out of the room with tears coming down his face.
"What did I do?" I ask
"I'll explain later, lets get you back to mine!" Eleanor smiles
I just nod and grab my bag.
"Bye Harry!" Eleanor calls out
"Bye! I'll call by later to see how Miley's doing!" He calls back
She smiles and waves before leading me out if the hospital.
"What about your boyfriend, Louis?" I ask
"Oh he's gonna give us some space for a couple of days so you can get to know everything better." She smiles
During the car ride on the way back to Eleanor's she was asking me lots of questions, which was pretty pointless as I don't know much at the moment.
A familiar song comes on the radio, it was 'Call Me Maybe' ugh even now when I can't remember anything I still no how much that song irritates me.
-FLASHBACK-
Eleanor puts on the radio and 'Call Me Maybe' by Carly Rae Jepsen comes on.
Me, Louis and Eleanor exchange a look before bursting into song, causing us to get weird looks from Harry.
"HEY I JUST MET YOU!" I sang to Harry
"AND THIS IS CRAZY!" Eleanor sings to Harry
"BUT HERE'S MY NUMBER!" Louis sings pretending to hand Harry his number
"SO CALL ME MAYBE!" We all shout in Harry's face.
God we are weird.
-END OF FLASHBACK-
"Hey El do you remember the time me you and Louis all sang that to Harry?" I laugh
"Oh my god yes! Harry was just sitting there watching us with a weird expression on his face! I can't believe you remember that!" She laughs
"Me neither!" I grin
I smile to myself looking out the window, this street is really familiar.
"Do you recognise this place?" She asked pulling up at a really nice house
"Not really but you have a really nice place."
I smile
"thanks." She laughs
As Eleanor unlocks the door I suddenly remember where I am.
"This is the place you and the boys share isn't it? I remember coming here ages ago for a movie night." I laugh
"Yes it is! You would come here all the time and not just for movie nights." She winks
"Oh god what else did I do?" I ask nervously
"You sometimes spent the night, with Niall." She giggles and attempts to wink again
"Who's Niall?" I ask worried
Her face expression drops and she lets out a sigh.
"Um sit down Miles." She says pointing to the couch
I sit down beside her, she takes my hands in hers.
"Okay so you remember the blonde haired boy from earlier?" She asked
"With the blue eyes?" I ask
"Yeah him." She smiles
"Yeah what about him?" I ask
"Well he was your boyfriend." She says
That's probably why he got so upset that I couldn't remember him.
"My boyfriend?" I repeat
"Yeah, you guys were together for just over a year before you broke up." She sighs
"Why did we break up?" I ask
"Because Niall kept getting really jealous, and you were sick and tired of Niall not trusting you enough, so you broke up with him." She says softly
I close my eyes and try to remember.
