Chapter 20

Chapter 20:

-Eleanor's POV-

I watch Miley as she closes her eyes, obviously trying to recall anything about her relationship with Niall.

A little tear escapes her closed eyes.

"Miley are you okay? Did you remember something?" I ask pulling her in for a hug

"No! That's what's wrong! I'm hurting all these people who obviously care about me a lot and I can't even remember them!" She cries

"It's not your fault, and we are here to help you get your memory back." I say trying to stop tears from escaping my eyes.

She hugs me tightly.

"Eleanor, I know I don't remember much about you but I already know that you are a great friend, and I promise I will try my hardest to remember you." She says softly

I couldn't hold back my tears back any longer, I look into her eyes, she means it. I pull her in for a big hug, we stay holding each other for what felt like ages.

"What do you wanna do now Miley? Do you want me to get some photos to help you with your memory or are you too tired and just wanna go to bed?" I ask

"I'd like to see some photos please." She smiles

I grin and run out of the living room straight to my room, I grab the photo album out from under my bed and rush downstairs to show it to Miley.

-Miley's POV-

Eleanor returns seconds later with a photo album in her hands.

She opens it and shows me the first photo.

It was me and her, I was giving her a piggy back, we were on a beach and Eleanor was holding an ice cream in her free hand.

-FLASHBACK-

"Mileyyyy" Eleanor whines

"What El?" I ask

"Carry me, my feet hurt, you were right I shouldn't have worn these shoes." She sighs

"I know I'm always right." I smirk

"Miley, please?" She pouts

"Fine!" I sigh

"Yay! Niall!" She calls out

We turn around to face the boys, they were all laughing about something.

"NIALL!" Eleanor says a little loudly

"Yeah?" He ask laughing

"Hold my ice cream." She demands

"That might be a bad idea, I might just eat it." He laughs

I giggle before saying

"If you do we'll kick your ass." I laugh

He pretends to be scared before Eleanor shoves the ice cream in his hand.

She hops on my back, thank god she's so light.

"Right Niall I shall have my ice cream back now." She says

He laughs and hands it to her.

"Let me get a photo of this." Louis shouts

He gets out the camera and stands on front of us.

"Say cheese!"

"CHEESE." Me and Eleanor say in union

The flash cause my vision to go blurry, I start to stumble around.

"Miley what are you doing?" Eleanor asks laughing

"I can't see a bloody thing, I'm blind!" I laugh

Suddenly I trip over my own foot, I fall to the ground, Eleanor still on my back.

Before we hit the sand I hear another flash of the camera.

Eleanor was currently lying on me laughing.

"Where's my ice cream?" She whines

"Here it is!" Harry laughs lifting a cone out of the sand.

"Miley! That was your fault! You have to buy me a new one!" Eleanor shouts

"It was Louis's fault for making me go temporally blind!" I laugh

"You're right, Louis you have to carry me back to the villa and buy me a new ice cream." She giggles

"Anything for my girl." Louis winks

Eleanor blushes and hops onto Louis's back.

"Let's go get that ice cream then!" He laughs

He walks off in the direction of the ice cream van Eleanor laughing on his back.

Niall puts his arm around my shoulder and I snuggle into his warm body.

-END OF FLASHBACK-

"I remember that! And then Louis took another photo of us as we were falling!" I laugh

She laughs and turns the page to reveal the photo.

Oh my god, my face is just a mess! My eyes are wide with fear, and I'm pulling a weird face. Eleanor's face is hilarious, she is screaming in the photo as she sees her ice cream flying into the air.

"Look at our faces!" I laugh

"Mines worse!" Eleanor snorts

"Did you just snort?" I laugh

"Yeah, it's my pig impression, do you like it?" She giggles before snorting some more.

"Eleanor you're so weird." I laugh

"Yeah but remember so are you, that's why we're such good friends, like sisters." She smiles

I smile back, I feel tears forming in my eyes.

For the rest of the night we looked through the photos, some I remembered others I didn't.

I was already crying a little bit when it came to the last page, I had regained special memories and best of all, I was starting to remember my best friend.

The last page only had two photos, one was all of nine of us together smiling, we were outside surrounded by trees and bushes and a couple of tents.

I smiled, I remember that night, we went camping out in a nearby forest, it was such an amazing day.

The next photo was the one that brought the tears on most.

It was two people, the boy was standing holding a girl in his arms bridal style, you couldn't see the girls face because they were kissing. They looked so in love, so happy to be with each other's company. It was me and Niall.
