Forgive and Forget

Chapter 6- The Pool

A/N- sorry its been like a month. I will probably be able to update more now since schools over. Well enjoy.

We walked into Sam's house and saw two boys raiding the kitchen. I giggled at their behavior. They were taking every single piece of food they could find and stuffing it in their mouth.

Sam walked over to the two boys who were either her two older brothers or her brother and his friend and so I followed.

"Hey, save some food for the rest of us!" She yelled. I just kinda stood there like the awkward person that I am.

The one on the right chuckled "So, who's your friend?" I stared at the ground.

"This is Christie and she's in my chemistry class." I look up from the ground finding them staring at me.

"Hey Christie, I'm Jacob, Sam's brother." said the one on the right "And this is my friend, Logan." He pointed to the cute one on the left staring at me.

"Hi." I waved shyly.

"I think we should show the newbie around." Logan said walking over to me and putting his arm around my shoulder. I look up into his beautiful blue eyes and my knees get week.

I got lost in his eyes. All of my surroundings faded away except for him. He kept talking to me but I couldn't hear any of words come out of his mouth. All I did was keep nodding my head.

"Christie?" Is what brought me back down to earth.

"Yeah? What?" I asked. I had absolutely no idea what was going on.

"I asked if you wanted to put your stuff down and put on your swim suit." Sam explained.

"Oh. Sure." I followed Sam towards her room.

"Just leave your stuff there." She points towards her bed. She goes over to her dresser and takes her swim suit out. I take mine out of my bag too and then zip it back up.

"There's a bathroom down the hall you can go in." I follow her directions and walk down the hall.

I ran into someone. I've got to quit doing that! Before I could fall on my butt, he caught me by my lower back and pulled me back into his chest.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry." We both say in unison.

I look up to see Logan's blue eyes pouring into my soul. I know that sounds weird but it's so true! It felt like his eyes were looking into my heart.

"I was just about to change." I hold up my swim suit.

"Oh in sorry." He says "I'll go change in the bathroom downstairs." He heads towards the stairs.

"No it's fine." I blurt out of my mouth. "I'll change downstairs." I say slower

"No," he laughs "I insist." Wow such a gentleman. He runs downstairs.

I open the bathroom door smiling and change into my swimsuit. http://www.polyvore.com/pool_time/set?id=81132755

I redid my ponytail and walked out. Sam stood there in a pink and orange stripes swim suit and a One Direction towel.

"One Direction? Really?" I ask. I used to be obsessed with them but they got old after a while and I found out about Imagine3 (they're not a real band. its just and inside joke), Imagine Dragons, the Kooks, and Ed Sheeran.

"Yeah. I still like them." She laughs "I still have that little kid inside me."

"That's probably because you still are a kid." I say matter-of-factly

"No, I'm a young adult." She tries to explain. "See, I have boobs." She points to them smiling.

"And so do 10 year-olds." I chuckle at her strangeness. Her mouth goes down into a frown.

"Come on, Sam, I wanna swim!" I yell pulling her with me down the stairs.

I dip my toe in the water and pull it back out. It wasn't too bad.

I feel someone's arms wrap around me and pick me up like a bride. I look up to see, of coarse, Logan.

"Are you ready?" He asks. His sparkling eyes looking down at me.

"Ready for what?" My eyebrows furrow together.

"On the count of three." He starts to swing me back and forth.

"Ready for wh-" then it hits me. "No! Put me down right now!" I yell laughing

"Three" he starts to count down

"No!" I squeal

"Two" he continues to swing me back and forth.

"Stop it!" I become serious this time and start pounding on his bare chest.

"One!" He screams.

Just as about he lets go I yell "No! Let me go!"

"If you insist." He lets go of me and I fling into the somewhat cold water. As I was under the water I decided to play with him a little.

I start to "cough" as I resurface. "I can't swim!" I yell. "Help!" I pretended to drown.

There was a big splash next to me and I felt someone lift me up to the surface of the water.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't kno-" I didn't let him finish. I grabbed him by the shoulders and pushed him under.

I let go and he came back up to the surface. He looked so confused. I just started to laugh so hard and Sam and Jacob joined in.

I should become an actress. I chuckle to myself.

"Not funny man!" He laughs "Not funny!" He couldn't keep a straight face

"Karma's a bitch." I tease while getting up to sit on the edge of the pool. He glares at me and I laugh while he follows me and sits down with me.

"Hey Jacob and Logan, lets go make lunch." Sam says

"Oh! I'll come to." I say. I love cooking

"No, you are new here. You just stay right here and relax." Logan says and they walk inside.

I just sit there relaxing and let the sun shine down on me.

"Christie, you shouldn't cuss. It's rude." Someone says. I whip around and my eyes go wide. Keaton.

"Keaton who are you talking to?" I quickly stand up. Lily walks out of the house right next to Sam's with Trevor following right behind her. Shit...

A/N-I had to cut this chapter in half or else it would have gone on forever. So does Travis creep anyone else out?
