Chapter 5

It was still morning. Sonic lay on the ice ledge,sleeping. Mephiles had gone hunting,Dark was guarding the camp.

Mephiles walked through the forest,looking for prey. He crouched down low when he saw a rabbit. The rabbit was busy looking for food. Mephiles slowly crept up on the rabbit,making sure that he was being very quiet. He leaned back a bit,he then pounced at the rabbit. He bit the rabbit's throat,when he landed on top of it. He sensed some wolves were around. He was about to run,but he sensed that the wolves were young pups like him. Out of the bushes came 5 pups,the same size as Mephiles. "What are you doing in my Alpha's territory?" He demanded,Sonic had marked part of the forest as his territory. "We're just looking for food,we're loners." A white pup stammered. 'It's probably a good idea to bring them with me,maybe Sonic will take them in as new pack members' Mephiles thought. "Follow me." He ordered,he picked up the dead rabbit. Mephiles walked of,the 5 pups followed him. One pup was white,two of them were black wolves,one was a light sandy brown color and the last one had fur that was a burnt umber color. Mephiles climbed up the snowy mountains he looked behind him,making sure that the 5 pups were still there.

"Mephiles who are they!?" Sonic demanded,his eyes narrowed while looking at his brother. The pups cowered under Sonic's gaze. "These pups are loners,I was hoping that you would let them join our small pack Alpha Sonic." Mephiles said,he bowed in respect in front of his alpha. Sonic's harsh gaze softened,he looked at the pups "what are your names?" He asked them. "Ice." The white wolf said. "Fallenshadow." The black wolf said.
"Twilight." The other black wolf wolf said. "Honey." The light sandy brown wolf said. "Blood." The burnt umber colored wolf said.(Ice,Twilight,Fallenshadow,Honey and Blood are the wolves that are in SonEXE-Broken Soul Without Love).
"Welcome to the pack." Sonic said.
-time skip 2 weeks later-
Sonic,Dark,Mephiles,Ice,Twilight,
Fallenshadow,Honey and Blood had all grown taller during the past 2 weeks. Sonic's fur had changed. Sonic's fur was now a deep cobalt blue instead of black,he still had his silver eyes. No one,not even Sonic knew why his fur had changed color. Sonic lay in his den,the new members were roaming around the camp and Dark and Mephiles guarded the camp entrance. The prey pile in the middle of camp was filled with fresh prey. Sonic heard some furious barks outside,his eyes narrowed. "What do you want!?" He heard Dark bark angrily at someone. "You have no business here get out!" He heard Fallenshadow growl. Sonic growled,he stood and walked towards the entrance of his den. He walked onto the ice ledge. There was 8 wolves in his camp,wolves that shouldn't be in his territory. Sonic's eyes narrowed,his fur turned cobalt blue like his fur in his Mobian form. Sonic turned into his Mobian form,he walked over to the intruders. As he got closer,his pack turned into their Mobian form. Sonic's pack was a pack of wolves and a pack of hedgehogs since everyone in his pack had the Mobian form of a hedgehog like him. When the wolves saw Sonic,they turned into their Mobian form. These intruders were also hedgehogs. In his Mobian form,Sonic still had silver eyes. "What do you want!?" Sonic demanded. A brown hedgehog stood in front of him. "You're the one who's been killing most of our prey and you even marked your own territory in my Alpha's territory!" The brown hedgehog growled,Sonic growled. "Get to the point about what you want." Sonic growled,he crossed his arms. "You're to come with us and see what our Alpha will do with you pups." The hedgehog said,Sonic's eyes narrowed. He hated being called a pup. "You'll have to make me come to your Alpha." Sonic growled,the brown hedgehog turned into his wolf form. Sonic also turned into his wolf form,his fur staying it's cobalt blue color. Sonic's pack members moved away from them,the same for the wolves that were on the brown wolfs side. "You don't belong here you're not even a proper Alpha." The wolf mocked him. The brown wolf and his followers bursted out into a fit of laughter. Sonic's pack members growled,Sonic's eyes narrowed. The brown wolf stopped laughing,his eyes were wide. In front of the wolf was Sonic. Sonic's left paw was in the air,his paw was also stained with fresh blood. Blood gushed from the brown wolf's throat,the brown wolf shook rapidly. His followers stared at Sonic in horror. "Leave now or face your fate." Sonic growled,his pupils were thin slits. The brown wolf was in front of Sonic,dead,laying in a pool of crimson blood. Instantly,the intruders fled from Sonic's territory and back to their territory. Sonic licked his bloodstained paw clean. "No one tells me what to do." Sonic growled.
