Chapter 9

Sonic opened his eyes,rubbing his eyes with a paw. He smiled,X was sleeping beside him. He saw the bandages on his throat,he growled a bit,he remembered what had happened yesterday. Sonic had growled a bit too loud,X stirred and opened his deep red eyes. Sonic smiled while looking at his mate,X returned the smile. The two lovers turned into their Mobian form and X pulled Sonic into a kiss. Sonic blushed a bit before kissing back. They instantly pulled away,when Dark walked into the den. Dark bowed in front of Sonic. "Want any of us to go hunting?" Dark asked. "We've got plenty of prey for now,it's best that a hunting patrol leaves when the moon is at it's highest point." Sonic said,Dark nodded his head and he walked out of the den. Once Dark was gone,X had pulled Sonic into another kiss. After a bit,Sonic pulled away for air. "Tonight's a half moon,soon we'll have to meet up with the enemy for a meeting." X said,Sonic nodded his head. Every half moon the 2 packs well now 3,would meet up at every half moon for a meeting under a truce for the night.
*time skip night time*
The half moon was at it's highest point,glowing brightly in the night sky. X stood up and turned into his Mobian form,the two lovers had been on a hunting patrol. During the half moon meeting,anyone who was there was expected to be in their Mobian form during the meeting except the Alphas' if they were werewolves. "Time to go." X said,Sonic nodded. Sonic walked down the snowy mountains,X beside him and the rest of his pack following him in their Mobian form while Sonic stayed as a wolf. Sonic walked through the forest,he stopped in a clearing. In the middle of the clearing was the Alpha rock,where the Alphas' stood or sat during the meeting. Sonic looked around,the enemy pack wasn't here. After a bit Fleetway walked into the clearing,some of X's vampire pack members were with the beta vampire. Fleetway walked up to X "didn't you say that you'd be back soon or back tomorrow as in today?" Fleetway asked,X sweat dropped. X chuckled nervously a bit,before replying "I was out on a hunting patrol with Alpha Sonic for most of the day." X said,Fleetway eyed X suspiciously before walking away. X let out a sigh of relief that Fleetway didn't mention the top rule of the pack code that applies to any pack wether it be werewolf,vampire or other kind of packs. "What's wrong? You seemed a bit tensed up when he looked at you in the eyes." Sonic asked his mate,concerned. X looked at him "Well there's a code used to try and keep peace between the packs but since war broke out between the packs the code changed,the top rule of the code is that someone can't fall in love with someone from another pack...I'm not saying that are love is over,I partly broke the code so I could be with you." X said,Sonic smiled after a bit and X returned the smile. "I must warn you though,there's a 3rd pack they're vampires and they live in the darkest part of the forest,when your pack became the 4th pack the code was changed." X told him,Sonic nodded and his silver eyes narrowed. "Once this meeting is over,I'd like to hear the rules of this code." Sonic said,X nodded. The two lovers jumped onto the Alphas' rock and sat next to each other. The enemy werewolf Alpha walked into the clearing,behind him was some enemy werewolves. X leaned over to Sonic "He'll most likely report what's happened in the past few days,so for now we need to act like that we're enemies." X whispered into Sonic's ear. Sonic's ear twitched towards X,acknowledging what his mate had said. The black Alpha wolf jumped onto the rock and sat next to Sonic on his right since X sat next to Sonic on his left. The two silver eyed werewolves' looked at each other. This was a truce,the black wolf dipped his head "greetings Alpha Sonic and Alpha Sonic.EXE." The black wolf said,while looking at the werewolf and vampire. (Adding my oc Scorn from ask me Sonic.EXE and Sonic into the story). A light blue hedgehog walked into the clearing,she looked like X but with lighter fur,her eyes were a golden yellow color,she wore a deep red dress that was torn at the knees,a black cape sailed behind her,she wore white boots with black straps and gold buckles,she also wore white gloves,and on each wrist was a gold bracelet with the name 'Alpha Scorn' engraved into each bracelet. Sonic looked at the female vampire,something told him that she could cause a lot of trouble.
