~~~~~~
My whole body felt stiff.
The morning sun rays flutter on my eyelids waking me from my slumber.
Getting off my bed, I start moving around my room. My whole body feels as if it's running electricity through my veins, almost as if I touch something it would zap. Walking up to my door I reach for the handle when my bedroom lights start to flicker on and off.
Looking up at the flickering light, I squint my eyes and then poof the light blows up.
That was strange...ignoring the busted light I walk out of my room, closing the door behind me I walk towards the kitchen, noticing that I'm the first one up.
Usually, my parents' are up in the kitchen having their morning coffee. My father would be sitting on the stool with a cup of coffee in his hand and the newspaper in the other while my mother would be cooking up breakfast. My idiot brother would be rolling into the house about this time complaining about the late hours that his job gives him.
My family is what you would call a tight-knit family we are pretty close to one another. Well as close as family could get, we still have our issues.
I stopped moving when the door cringes making a sound as if someone was walking in, My mother looked like she had just crawled out of bed with her messy bun falling apart and her robe loosely hanging on, she made her way towards me rubbing her eyes.
"Morning mom," I walked closer to her about to give her a hug when, Jake my brother came bursting through the door.
"Mom," Jake screamed. "Mom help!" He began to frantically pull her towards my bedroom.
"Honey, what happen?" My mother asks never pulling away from Jake's grasp.
"It's Anna," he cried his voice sounding as if it were slightly breaking.
"What about her?" My mother asked starting to panic.
"Ummm you guys," I said while taking a step in front of them "I'm right here," but they didn't hear me they just completely ignored me.
"She won't wake up," Jake said sounding scared "I tried everything I shook her I even slapped her but she won't wake up!"
"What do you mean?" Mother's voice was now a little high pitched.
A dreadful feeling took over my body and just as I was about to head towards them, I was pulled out of the house.
Slightly out of breath I looked in front of me the white columns of the house were staring back, an Erie fog surrounded the house, staring at the house made me feel empty, drained and overall tired. A blood curling scream pulled me out of my daze, looking up I saw my red Curtin swaying with the wind my balcony doors were open but I just knew they were in my room I could feel it.
Running towards front door I tried opening it but not only was I flung away from the door but the force was so powerful landed across the street, the clear screams of my mother yelling my name made me dust myself off, at this point all I wanted was to get in!
With a frustrating scream, I ran to the door only to stumble into my room.
My mother was on the floor sobbing while my brother stood there not moving it didn't even look like he was breathing.
With all the commotion that was going on, I was surprised my father hadn't walked in.
My head snapped to the side as I heard my brother take a sharp breath, I hadn't noticed till now but he was silently crying, tears were now rolling off his and my mothers face's.
Why were they crying?
Just as I was about to ask what was wrong I noticed that I was on the bed but that shouldn't be possibly seeing as I was standing right behind them. My hands start trembling as I step closer to my bed.
No this couldn't be right,it just couldn't.
My purple bed sheets looked all crumble while my still body laid faced down onto the pillow.
My lungs started to burn as if some had set a fire inside me,everything was becoming black I could hear my gasp and only when my mother began to once again scream did I realize that it was not only me seeing the world turn black but it was actually the lights popping,bring the room into the darkness only then did I become calm.
"Mom"Jake said his voice was so soft almost as if he was speaking to a child," we should call the cops"
With a slight sniff she nodded.
"Come on I don't think you should stay here." Jake proceed to grab her from the waist and slowly walked her out of the room.
Just as he was about to shut me in the room he turned around and silently whispered my name.
"Anna. .."the way his voice cracked,the way a lone tear slid down his cheek, the way his eyes looked fogged and distant that made my heart break it made me feel as if I was dying a slow painful death.
