Kendall's Pov
After everything was cleared up at Starbucks, Luke and I headed to the hotel. We waited on everyone and discussed how to tell them about "us". Luke came up with the idea to leave a note. We were supposed to be going on a date tonight, and when we leave, the note would be waiting for them to read it. We decided the note should say,"Luke and I are together. Weird right? Actually, not really because we're dating. #sorrynotsorry Be back later." I asked Luke,"Where are we going tonight, Lukey?" He smirked. "Wouldn't you like to know," he said jokingly. He thought about it for a minute and then replied with,"It's a surprise." Great. So I had no idea where we were going and what to think of this "date". I looked outside noticing the sun was slightly going down. I clicked the home button on my phone to check the time. It read 5:53. Wow. Time sure does pass by quick when your having fun. "So, why don't you get ready, and I'll pick you up at 6:35?" Luke said but in more of a question than a statement."See you then babe," I said making Luke's cheeks turn red. I walked out of there hotel room to head to my apartment. (Btw Kendall lives in New York.) I arrived and went to my walk in closet. I suddenly then remembered I had no clue what to wear. I texted Luke and asked "casual or dressy?" He replied quickly with "dressy." He also added a smirking emoji. I went to my closet and pulled out a blue lace dress. I also added some black boot/heels. Then, I went to my jewelry box and pulled out a black, shimmery diamond necklace. After my clothes were picked out, I decided to take a quick shower before changing. I soaked the coconut fragrance into my hair. This shampoo was my favorite. After the shower, I blow-dried my hair and used my curling wand to add ringlet curls to my red hair. Next is makeup. I added silver glittery eyeshadow with a winged eye. I then applied fake eyelashes. It looked amazing. Not to brag or anything. I pulled on the dress that had a huge gap in the back. The blue lace dress is one of my favorites, so I chose it. I checked the time to see I had fifteen minutes to spare. First, I brushed my teeth and added tic tacs to keep my breath fresh. Once that was done, I was ready. I checked my Instagram for what felt like the first time in ages. My notifications were blowing up. I looked at the pictures I was being tagged in. "Luke with a normal girl?" was bordering the top of the edits. People were confused to as why he would want me. Out of all people, why me? I felt a hot tear run down my face. I wasn't good enough,and I knew that. I just didn't want to except it. Bang! I looked up and went to open the door. As soon as I opened it, I regretted it completely. It was Luke. It wasn't the fact that it was him, but the fact that he knew I'd been crying. He wiped away the stray tear. "May I come in?" Luke asked. "Of course," I said unsteadily. "Why were you crying?" He spoke. I looked into his eyes. Did he really care? I pulled up my phone. I showed him the edits. All of them were hate edits. The captions read stuff like "Luke is too good for her" or "Probably just another greedy fan." I broke down. I burst into tears, and he grabbed me and pulled me onto the bed. His strong arms were wrapped around me and leaving was something I never wanted to do. It was gonna be me and Luke. Forever. No matter what happened. I loved him, and I was pretty sure he felt the same way.
