Parallel Universe//finished

Part 2-what have I forgotten?

Rose looked back at her dad. He was still calling his friends, since nobody wanted to come pick them up. She looked at the part of the bay where her mum was standing. But her mum wasn't there. Rose panicked and asked her dad:

"Dad? Where's mum?"
"Not now Rose, I'm talking. "
"But dad! Mum's gone!"
"What are you talking about? Be quiet!"
"What do you mean?! Where is mum?!"

Rose looked at the Doctor with a panicked face. The Doctor stood up, walked over to Pete, and took the phone out of his hand.

"Listen to your daughter!" He yelled at Pete. "Your wife is gone!"

"Who are you talking about?! Have you two gone mad?! I don't have a wife!"

The Doctor had a surprised and worried expression on his face, and Rose covered her face with her hands and started crying.

"How.... How can you forget her?" The Doctor asked, his voice shaking.

"What?? Give me back my phone!"

The Doctor refused, and they fought for the phone on the bay. Suddenly, the phone got thrown across the beach, and the Doctor ran for it. As he was running, he turned back and saw Pete staring in shock at something in front of the Doctor.

All of a sudden, the Doctor bumped into someone in front of him. "Sorry", he mumbled, as he looked up.

A tall creature in a suit was standing in front of him. Its face was completely white and very wrinkled, and it had no nose and all black eyes.

The Doctor's eyes widened, and he turned around to run, but as soon as he did, he couldn't remember what he was running from.

"Behind you!" Rose screamed, taking her hands from her face, forgetting why she was crying.

The creature grabbed the Doctor's face, opened its mouth, and sucked in a part of the Doctor's soul. Rose started running towards him.

"No!" The Doctor yelled. "Stay back! Or it will do the same to you!" His voice echoed towards her.

Rose stood back and started sobbing. She looked at her father, but he had already fainted from shock on the sand. She couldn't remember what was going on, so she started walking to him, until she heard a scream from behind her.

"Doctor! " she yelled.

He was lying on the ground, barely alive. Rose ran up to him and and hugged him.

"What is that? Are you okay?" She asked, sobbing.

"They're called...." He took a sharp breath, "the Silence. You can only remember them if....." He took another breath, "you're looking at them.... They took away your mother Rose, that's why I know you can't remember her. "

"My what?" She sniffled. "Oh my God Doctor, you're dying. "
She realized that she was slowly forgetting him, and everything that had happened in the past 7 hours.

"Rose...look...." the Doctor pointed to where the Silent had walked.

The Silent was carrying her dad to a portal that was opened on the bay.

"Who is that in its arms?" Rose sobbed.

"Nobody. " the Doctor replied. He coughed, and Rose took him into her arms.
