Part 4 - The Doctor

"Rose! You're ok! " the Doctor said, popping out of the tardis. "Rose?"
He had a worried look on his face.
"Where is- what-"

The Doctor sat down in front of her. Rose looked into his dark brown eyes and she couldn't say anything. Not after what she had been through.

"I heard about the portal. " The Doctor said quietly, his voice cracking. "There is one in the other universe, and the walls of our world are not closed, because the tardis-"

"I lost you!" Rose yelled, tears streaming down her face as she hugged the Doctor.

The Doctor felt tears in his eyes, but he quickly blinked them away.

"It's okay. I'm here." he ran his fingers through her hair. "I'll always be here. "

He helped her stand up.
"I might be able to get them back. Come on. Don't cry Rose. " he said softly, wiping her tears off of her cheeks.

"Where is Donna? " Rose asked.
The Doctor looked into her eyes, and she understood. "I'm sorry." Rose hugged him again.

"Anyway. I might be able to use the sonic to reverse what has been done to me and your parents, how the Silence took their memories away. But how come they are not in the other universe? Since they crossed the portal-"

"My parents?" Rose said, a blank expression on her face.

"Please. Tell me you remember them. Rose please." The Doctor said, about to cry.

"Who were they?"

"You forgot them didn't you? They were taken through the portal."

"I- " Rose started to answer, being cut off.

"Then how do you remember me?"

"Because you are right here. When you were taken through, I immediately heard the sound of the tardis. Every memory of you kept alive in my mind." Rose said, smiling sadly.

The doctor kissed her forehead.
"Rose. Stay here. "

"What are you doing?" She asked, holding his hand.

" I'm gonna go scan the portal. To see exactly what happened." He said as he ran off.

"Be careful!" Rose yelled after him.

As soon as he got to the portal, he took out his sonic screwdriver and scanned it. "Oh no! It's-"

He got cut off as he heard an explosion. He started running back to Rose, and as he turned around, he realized that the Silence were coming out of the portal. He pointed his screwdriver at them, and pressed a setting. The screwdriver made a buzzing sound, and a bright light started flashing, as the Silence flew back into the portal.

"It closed!" The Doctor yelled running back to Rose.
"But-"
"I know. I couldn't. I'm so sorry. They already took your parents and me into the other universe. There was nothing I could do. The Silence kill Rose. And your parents are already dead. Their memories won't ever come back. And neither will yours of them. " He took her into his arms. Rose started to sob.

What were they supposed to do now? Rose had no family. She hoped the Doctor will take her back.

"What will I do now?" Rose said, crying.
"Come with me. Please. Rose-"

Suddenly, they both heard a gun shot.
