Balloons

Before we start I just wanted to say that All of this is not real... It's just suddenly popped in my head, so yeah. hope you enjoy. Btw, Both of them have the same age. so yeah

It all started with a balloon....

It was a normal day at the park, family going on picnics, couples going on dates, and of course children playing around the park.

One child can be easily noticed in the crowed? why because she is the only one who is holding a red balloon. The balloon that her father gave as a sorry present for being late.

Everyone started of as strangers. your classmate, your friend, your lover.

A smile forms on her lips. She held the balloon tightly in her hands never wanting it to let go.

A group of children were playing tag, one of them accidentally bumped into her. The Impact made her let go of the balloon.

Without looking back at the other kid she ran towards the balloon.

Her goal right now is to get the balloon. Her father bought her a helium balloon and this is the first time that she got one so she wanted to get it back.

She followed the balloon until it got stuck on top of a tree. the tree is not that big but to the eye of the ten year old it was huge. She knew she couldn't reach it but since she still wants the balloon she started jumping up and down unaware of a pair of eyes watching her.

A day at the park means hell for him. His parents dragged him to the park to get some fresh air.

His parents always complain about him always playing virtual games. He tried playing outside but everytime he plays outside all the girls would just cling into him and it really annoyed him.

So here he was sitting on top of a tree bench playing with his gameboy.

Well until he was interrupted when a balloon got stuck near the edge of the tree. Thinking that no one would be stupid enough to get the balloon he went back to his game.

Before he could even resume his game he heard small grunts bellow him. He looked down and saw a the girl trying her best to reach the balloon. 'Stupid' was he first thing that came into his mind. He wanted to help the girl but what is she is just like the other girls, maybe she planned to make the balloon go up there so that she could talk to him? If that's the case then.

"Hey girl!" he shouted. The said girl looked up and smiled. 'She looks so innocent.' he thought. "Hey mister can you please help me get the balloon?" she asked. "No." He said. She crossed her arms and pouted. "Please Mister I really need it." She said. Before he could even say another 'No' she gave him the most cutest puppy dog eyes that he had ever seen. He slowly leaned towards the edge of the tree to get the balloo, once he caught it he tied his gameboy in the strings.

"Yes! Thank you mister." She said. "Here catch!" he said as he threw his gameboy. She was suprised but she still managed to catch it. "Hey what am I going to do with this?" She asked. "Just hold it while I go down."

When he went down the girl handed her his gameboy. "Thank you mister. My name is Nadine." She said with a smile. "Stop calling me mister my name is James." he told her while taking his gameboy.

They ended up playing at the park the whole afternoon. They learned tons of things from each other, Nadine was pretty good at playing games while James was a really fast runner. While they were playing the balloon flew away James was about to follow the balloon but Nadinde stopped him saying that even though she lost the balloon at least she has a new friend. Before they knew it, it was already sunset. Both of their parents are already calling them. They both made a promise to go to the park every saturday. But before they leave Nadine quickly kissed James' cheeks.
