Chapter 1-The start of everything

ALL OF THEIR POVS

Trapped in a suffocating dim-lit and dusty secret basement were three of us twin sisters and also, princesses of the Nightingale Kingdom.

Well,You can't say that we were trapped but we can't escape this destiny any longer.

We three,Madeleine,Rosetta and Corlette are the pride and joy of the Nightingale Kingdom. We are known to be smart,beautiful and dazzling.

When we think about it,a few days ago,we were just peacefully preparing for our 18th b'day and spending the rest of it in peace.

Just a single handwritten letter could change all of it.And all because of that declaration of war.

Our mind still couldn't process any of this. Just until a few minutes ago,we three were having the time of our lives,wearing glittering and sparkling ball gowns with decorated hair accessories on our beautiful curled hair.

When suddenly,our dear mother interrupted us from our happy moments and ordered us to follow her to a secret basement hidden behind our family portrait.

You can say that three of us had no idea of what was going on.

From childhood days,we were told that Nightingale Kingdom was a kingdom free of mages,wizards,witches and anything magical while other kingdoms continuously had war going on because of their competition for more magical power.

We believed it. We really did.

And now,soldiers out there,no,or should we say,mages out there are fighting for their lives with another powerful kingdom for magical powers.

In addition,our mother just revealed to us that she was also a fellow mage and that we needed to evacuate immediately from the kingdom because everyone worries about our safety.

Apparently,our father's,the king,best friend's kingdom was willing to lend us a helping hand and agreed to take care of us until the war was over.

At first,none of us were willing to accept this truth but we're 18 now. It's time to grow up and act mature.

Before leaving,our mother had also told us that we,too,had magical powers in us and that we should be able to escape by using our magical brooms.

Still feeling confused and yet,determined,the three of us set off for the kingdom of Orsivia,while our fellow family members are fighting in the gruesome harsh battle.

Madeleine's POV

What mother had told us...can't be true,can it?

And yet,the truth of those words have been revealed.

By the flying magical broom i'm sitting on right now and also my little dumb twin sister,Corlette,trying to grab hold of my broom and not falling to the ground as she is too stupid to be able to control her own magical broom unlike my other smarter little twin sister,Rosetta.

"Hey! Not so fast,Madeleine!" complained Corlette.

She was desperate in trying to not fall and die.

"If you would be so smart enough to just sit on your own broom,then kindly do so. Because i don't think my broom is able to hold two people." I replied to her.

We were going towards our destination,the Orsivia Kingdom where our new palace to stay awaits us.

Flying in the sky wasn't pretty bad. I quite enjoyed it.

If not for the disturbing Corlette grabbing my foot,I would've enjoyed it much more.

I looked up the sky where white soft clouds and the blue space drifted pass me which calmed me down.

And we finally reached our destination.

"Look,Over there." Rosetta pointed to the northeast direction where a shadow of huge buildings could be seen.

Yes,it was the Orsivia Kingdom.
And it looked as magnificent as ever.

We landed on the ground in front of the gates and got ready to enter the kingdom.

So..this is our new home..
I thought to myself.

Tying my hair braid even tighter, I and my sisters walked towards the gates and crossed the border line.

We have officially entered the kingdom of Orsivia.
