Chapter 6- Accident?!

Corlette's POV

Seeing my sisters flirting with their Oh-So charming prince (especially Madeleine that was a shocking event for me), I had to go far away from them to practice my own.

'Hm. I can do this. I can do this.', I thought as I again made a second attempt to float an object.

Then it fell. On my head. From the sky.

'.... I can't do this.', I sighed.
I was always thought to be the princess who could only look good and can't do anything. It kind of irritates me.

But it's true.

As i sat down on the grass, thinking about it, some annoying thing ran towards me. It was shaped like a ducky figure.

Oh, Nevermind. It was just Alden.
"You realy can't do it can you?", he smirked.

I pouted. "Like you can."
Alden, being the dumbheaded person he was, thought of it as a challenge (-_-)

"Fine then. I'll show you.", he lifted his hand to his chin looking at all the objects for the experiment.
Then, he looked at me.

He smirked evilly. Then, I felt my feet floating. Oh no.

He thought it was funny and started laughing as he lifted me higher.

But there was this one thing.
Have i ever said i am very afraid of heights?

No? Okay.

I gave a scared expression and felt tears rolling down.
Alden seemed to notice as he stopped laughing and lifted me down slowly.

As my feet made contact with the ground again, I started wiping my eyes roughly like a baby.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't know umm.. Don't cry?"

He pulled me into a hug silencing my cries.
I became calm and soothed over his suit.

It felt nice.

"Sorry. I was just trying to have some fun"

"I-It's fine.. I know you're stupid.", I smiled sympathically.

He gave a straight face. And pouted. But smiled anyways.

Of course, who could resist me?
Except for Madeleine.. Noone. Not even Rosetta *smirks*.

I went back to the guest room. ( The dark creepy damn place)

And as I settled down, a shadow moved near the closet.

Since i was scared of the dark, i didn't move. I just lay slowly in my bed, shutting my eyes forcefully.

As i slept, someone- no something, was whispering.

"Sleep tight little child, rain overcomes blood but doesn't wash it away."

A shiver ran down through my spine.

I was punished because i forgot to bring my literature class work. And Vale and Eden are mean people. And now i'm going to die.

I opened my eyes. And i wish I hadn't.
Black fog swarmed around my room and i choked.
Umm...
