16th Birthday party-Chapter 17

Hunter Friday, January 11 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So today is my 16th birthday. Unfortionly I have to go to school today. I woke up at 6:05 am. I got up got dressed in my uniform. Haru called in sick today so I'm going by myself. By the time I was done it was 7:30 am. I grabbed a piece of toast and headed for school. I drove to into the school since I got my license last week and saw Charlie at his locker. I didn't tell him that I knew about him and Haru. He shut his door and turned around. He waved to me and I waved back. I walked to homeroom and sat down. I did my school work as normal. Honestly, I was kinda depressed for no reason. All I want to do is go home and sleep. Time flew by and it was 11:30 am already. I walked to the cafeteria alone. I sat down and plopped my tray on the table. I was looking down at my tray and I heard sitting at the table. I looked up and it was Charlie. "Oh, hey," I said and just looked back down. "Happy Birthday Hunter! How is Haru, he texted me that he wouldn't come into school today." "Oh, I think he just has a cold. But I'm sure that he is okay". We talked until it was time to go back to class. We started walking back to class and Charlie asked me something, "Hey, there is this place I wanna take you too. It's my treat! Just follow behind me" "Uh sure I have nothing planned". We got back to class and he sat in Haru's seat. Few hours later it was time for french class. We walked to french class and It went by so fast. We just walked back and sat back to the homeroom. The two hours went by and it was time to go home. "Meet you there," Charlie said and I followed him. I got in the car and I just drove. After 10 minutes, he stopped at this gym like place. I was kinda confused but I just followed him in. We got in and everything was dark. then these disco lights turned on. Then everyone came out and said, "Happy Birthday!". I just stood there. Everyone from school was here. Besides the bullies. The music turned on and Charlie pushed me on the dance floor. Someone pulled my hand and pulled me aside. It was Haru. "Here," he said handing me a change of clothes and pointing me to the bathroom. I went to the bathroom and got changed. I came out and started looking around. I was looking left when my hand was pulled again. Again it was Haru. He took me to the dance floor and we started dancing. It was amazing. Just dancing with the boy I love. We danced for hours. We sang happy birthday and we had some cake. Then we went back to the dance floor. He took me into the middle and then kissed me. He released me and we started dancing again. It was hours, and then he decided to take me out of the building. We sat in the alleyway and he handed me a present. He handed me a rectangle shaped thing. "Open it," He said, so I did. It was a drawing that had a chibi character and said 'I would give you my heart but you already stole it!' I was speechless. It was so cute, and also sweet. I didn't say anything and just hugged him. "Thank you," I whispered. He just hugged me tighter. We got up and went back inside. We just partied our hearts out. The party was over and everyone left. Some people actually gave me gifts. So I grabbed the presents and put them into the back of the car. I went back and I saw Haru passed out sitting against the wall. I looked at him and smiled. I grabbed him and put him into the front seat. I buckled him, and then I went to the drivers side of the car. I looked at him. He just looked so cute. Then I focused and started to drive. 15 minutes later we got home. I picked him up and carried him upstairs and put him in his bed. I looked at the time and saw that it was 11:33 pm. "Ah... today was a good day." I said to myself and flopped on my bed. I looked over to Haru, and got up and went over to sit on his bed. He started waking up. "Oh sorry Haru, go back to sleep," I said in a quiet voice. "No, no I'm up," He said sitting up. "So how did you like your party?" he asked me. "Good, the party was awesome" "But I wonder, who planned the party?" I said sarcastically. "Hmm... I wonder too," He said sarcastically, but I just kissed him. "Thanks for the party, I loved it" I said. "You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed the party." He said cheerfully. "Well i'm gonna go to bed, goodnight. Hey Haru?" I said and flopped on my bed. "Yeah?" "Wanna come to this music shop with me tomorrow. I always loved music and I want it to be my career so I want you to come with me to get my first guitar" "Oh I never knew you liked to play guitar, but sure I would love to come with you" "Okay great! See you in the morning Haru," I said and turned over and fell asleep.
