He never gives up

Cedric woke up the next morning, he had forgotten about the what seemed like a dream from last night. Although when he remembered he stood still, thinking about that moment. At first he referred to it as a dream, although when thinking about it, it seemed so real. He felt like Iris had been in his presence. He felt the way he always did after speaking to her. Cedric told himself it was a dream and shrugged it off.

My alarm pounded into my ears, ringing like hell. I had Defence Against the Dark Arts today with um-bitch. Great. Nobody liked Professor Umbridge, not one little bit. I got changed and went to Breakfast where I saw no sign of Cedric. I hoped if he had thought of what happened with Iris last night as a dream, or he will be searching for Iris day and night. Well knowing Cedric he would just shrug it off but it would remain in his mind for the rest of the week until his and Iris' eyes meet yet again.

Cho Chang came up to me while we were waiting to go into DADA. She pulls me to one side and I'm scared about what she wants to tell me.

"Hey Sofia." She smiles and her soft Scottish voice continues. "Hermione Granger wanted me to tell people in our year about a meeting for a better DADA teacher in Hogsmeade next weekend and I was wondering if you would like to come along? Most people in our class are coming." I never thought Cho would ask me, but I guess that I am one who would be interested. I wondered if anyone has asked Cedric.

"I would love to." I smile and Cho does to.

"We are meeting in the Hog's Head at 12pm. You should ask Cedric to come too, I think he'll be interested." Then I realise Cho is using me to get Cedric to come. Not many people know of our friendship but I guess she is aware of it as she wanted me to ask him. Umbridge(bitch) demands us to come in and we take our seats.

We study the right theory to get through our exams. It drives me mad as none of this will be useful in real life, that's why this meeting is being organised. A proper DADA teacher would be great. Luckily the lesson ends quick and I go outside to find Cedric walking by with his friends. I catch up with him and tap him on the shoulder.

"Hey Cho wanted me to ask you something." He looks surprised and he comes to one side. His eyebrows are closer to his eyes and he gives me his cute confused face which I adore beyond words, I blush slightly. I look about and then whisper to him, "Next weekend at Hogsmeade there is going to be a meeting involving getting a better DADA teacher, like somebody who knows how to teach. Hermione Granger got Cho to ask me who wanted me to ask you." I smile and Cedric sighs with relief.

"That sounds good. What time?" He asks and I try to remember before I can get lost in his eyes.

"12pm, ask your friends too." I smile and walk off, Iris won't be invited to this. So I hope that when she returns this will be the time I get to spend with Ced as Sofia. I walk to the library and do the homework I had just been set. Mia comes along and sits with me, I would ask her to come along to Hogsmeade but she doesn't take DADA. We sit in silence and do our homework, we aren't the closest of friends. Cedric comes in at 2, just before I have to go to Herbology.

"Hey Sofia can we talk?" Cedric says, fiddling with his own fingers nervously.

"Sure." I say and we walk out of the Library into the empty corridor.

"Did you see Iris last night?" He questions, he hasn't given up on it.

"Not since her fight with Riley. Why did you ask?" Sofia becomes as curious as Ced, even if she knows what it's about. She wants to hear him say it.

"Nothing, it must have been a dream." He shrugs it of and stays silent until I have to speak.

"You saw her?" I ask curiously, trying to make it seem just like a guess.
