Sam was completely dumbfounded and speechless. How was he going to comfort you? Sam understood the feeling of being different, being called a monster, and being alone. But to be locked away and abandoned for three years by someone you loved whole heartedly and gave your trust, that's where sam had a big disconnect.

He studied your presence before him. He admired the glow you had. He couldn't quite figure out what it was about you that made you glow. It was on the tip of his tongue. Your rosey cheeks and berry colored lips, glowing skin didn't suit someone who was so alone and sad.

"It's impolite to stare."

The younger winchester seemed to be caught of guard. This made you smile softly. It was the first time you smiled in a while and he could tell. Sam hesitantly placed a hand on your shoulder then quickly removed it. Touching your shoulder felt like sticking his hand in the bottom of a cooler full of ice, with the pins and needles feeling that came after. It was not a refreshing to human skin.

"I'm sorry... I should've warned-"

He cut you off, "N-No, it's ok really. I just wasn't expecting you to be so cold..." He gasped and retracted his statement. "I- I didn't mean it like you're a horrible person! Like Uh I just your skin-"

This time you cut him off. " it's alright sam, I have no warmth. With in passing years I've only grown colder." Sam slowly raised his hand again. "No! It's for the best you don't touch me. You could lose your hands to frostbite. Please it's for the best. Don't touch me ever sam." He pulled his hand back and rubbed it for heat.

Castiel was the only one who could touch you. Not that you wanted it to be that way. Because he was an angel he was unaffected by your power. He could touch you to this day and be fine even though your skin was more cold then it was back then. You were a walking freezer and you hated it.

When castiel left all those years ago is when you noticed your body grower psychically colder every day. If it was up to you, you'd rather have a growing warmth like any other angel.

Sam could see the pain in your eyes, but he couldn't find the words he needed to make you feel better. "Damn it sam say something to her! Comfort her you idiot! She's looking at you!" He was beating himself up in his big time and you could hear word he spoke in his head. He looked down, hanging his head in defeat. Sam finely sighed, letting his eyes travel up to meet your own eyes.

Without thinking twice you spoke, "I'll do it! I'll help. Look, see, it's been done heres the crystal blade! I've even blessed it with my blood!"

Sam backed away from you. " wait how did you know we needed this???" He knitted his brows together and kept his guard up.

"Uh I'm part angel... oh I can hear your thoughts... everyone's thoughts... especially castiels. I Can even hear his heart." You paused bringing your hand to your chest. "After all this time... I can still feel it. It's- beating like wild fire." Castiel was nervous and anxious just being here. He must of felt devastated when you refused to help him.

You violently shook your head. No. You weren't going to fall again. "Castiel!" He stood before you waiting for your words. "Take the blade and leave!" Your words were full of venom. He couldn't help but cringe at your tone of voice.

"(Y/n)-"

"NO CASTIEL! If you refuse me my freedom then take the blade and never come back!!!" Ice rapidly formed in the library. A blizzard began to take over.

"(Y/N) LISTEN TO ME!" Castiel shouted above the roaring winter.

By this time dean ran to the library. He looked at cas then sam. "Son of a bitch! Sammy we gotta get out of here and let these two settle this themselves!"Sam held his arms up trying to fight the force of the wind. "No dean I'm not leaving! I'm not leaving (y/n)!" Dean threw his hands up in frustration and treated his way through the growing snow. He didn't stand a chance, Neither did sam.
