The ride back to the bunker was awkward and silent. Dean wanted nothing more but to go back home and drink. He had decided they were not going to stay another night in the motel, but instead just heading back early. He would occasionally look over at how was sitting in the passenger seat instead of sam. Dean had banished his brother to the back seat, Sam had lost all shot gun privileges.
You'd just zap your self back to Sam's room but you didn't have the energy, It took a lot of grace to get you there. Looks like you'd have to sit in the awkward silence. Dean would every now and then glance in the rear view mirror at you when he his eyes weren't on the road or on castiel. He was just checking to make sure you weren't doing anything you weren't supposed to. When he was Content he would focus back on driving and cas. When you all arrived at the bunker dean went to the kitchen and sam went to his room. Cas followed dean and you followed sam.
Sam let you walk into the room first like a gentleman the gently closed his door. He said nothing to you. He didn't even look at you. His bruised face was distraught. You raised your hands to his face and turned away from he. He rejected your touch so you looked at your feet and began to cry. Sam realized what he had done, and you must of misunderstood his actions.
"N-No (y/n) I didn't mean it like that. Your cold remembered."
Oh duh... you giggled wiping your tears. You were embarrassed, you most of looked childish to him. Sam smiled the best he could and sat on his bed. "That's my girl." Your eyes shot up faster than a greyhound chasing a robotic rabbit around a track. That's my girl? Did he really mean that after what went down with dean in the warehouse?
He could see the how-can-you-say-that look you had. "Don't beat yourself up. It's my fault for lying. I was just scared of what dean would do if he found out you were here. This could've all been avoided if I was just honest." He pointed at himself.
You shook your head. "Sam, how can you still stand to see the likes of me? You should be treating me the way I treated castiel. You should scald and burn me the way I did him. Do you realize that I came in between two brothers?" You got on your knees in front of him searching for answers in his eyes.
"You're worth it to me."
Your jaw dropped. "Well I shouldn't be."
"And why's that?" He seemed displeased.
"Because blood's thicker than water." It was true, and sam knew that it was but he didn't care. "I should go. I really shouldn't be here."
Your body was in motion to leave when sam held on the the end of his shirt you were wearing. You closed your eyes wanting him to just let you run away.
"If you leave then I'm going with you." His voice was tired and rough.
"Are you crazy sam?" You were beginning to wonder if he was a complete lunatic.
He shrugged. "(Y/n) after all you been through you think I'm just going to let you walk this earth alone? It's a scary place with things that go bump in the dark. What if a demon comes after you, then what?"
"I'll cross that bridge when I get there I guess" You were beginning stubborn,But so was he.
"WE will cross that bridge together" He corrected you. There was that word again. We. He was serious about being in on this with you. "You jump, I jump." He cheesley quoted titanic, but it worked.
"Fine... I'll stay." You sighed giving in to him.
He tried to cheer but only winced in pain. You giggled placing yourself in front of his sitting frame again. "You think you can patch me up?"
