Chapter 10

Chloe's POV

"Choose her. She loves you. This isn't your fault. I love you." I whispered into his ear not knowing if he heard me. I got a conformation as I pushed away. His face full of fear and confusion. I didn't know what to do. I just turned to Bella who was clueless.

Dammit. Stop loving him. Look at Bella she's so happy. Wait what about Brad?!

"Hey Jingle Bell?" I asked causing her to look up from her phone.
"Yah. What's up Clo Bird?" She said with a slight smirk.
"Did-.... Did you tell Brad yet?" I said trying to sound normal as I bite my salad.
"Huh? Uh- told him what?" She started getting nervous I could tell. Her fingers tracing her knee.

I put my hand on her leg.

"Listen. I'm sure he'll understand as long as you tell him exactly what happened. You love Zack right?" I sighed," I'm happy for you sis." I assured her with a smile.

"Thanks so much sis. I just don't want to hurt you. But guess what? As soon as you get out of here, I'm taking you to New York. It's the 23rd. Almost Christmas!" I widended my eyes. I couldn't get words out so I hugged her so tightly.

"Thanks so much! OMG I'm so excited! You better invite your new boyfriend!" I said with a smirk. She laughed and went back to her phone. Zack just sitting by her side laughing nervously as he looked at me.

Bella's POV

"You better invite your new boyfriend."

I laughed but I don't know why that word hurt me. I felt myself sink into Zack's side as I went back to booking our flight to NYC.

A few minutes later of silence. I looking up at him. He was lost in thought. But it wasn't good.

"Hey jock, you okay there?" I said with a smile. I didn't get a response. I looked at Chloe that was waving her hand gesturing I wave my hand in front of his face. So I did.

Still no response. I kissed his cheek....
No reaction. I looked at Chloe. I was worried. She smirked and I already knew want she was telling me to do.

"Get on his lap" she mouthed. I looked at her sticking my tongue out. But I did.

I straddled his waist. He looked like he just got shot. White face and then looked up at my face.

"Well, helloo theree" he smirked. He cupped my cheek and kissed me. I smiled against his lips.

"Finally! I thought you were dead!" I almost yelled slapping his arm playfully. He was laughing at my worried look.

I got up and put my hands on my waist. Looking at him laughing at me. He was holding his stomach as he laughed.

"Are you done Zachary?!" He stopped and threw a pillow at me. I jumped on him but he pushed me off and started tickling me.

I heard Chloe laughing her ass off on the bed.

"Sto- ST- Stooppp!!" I said thru my laughs. He finally stopped and kissed my cheek.

"Bastard." I said as I got up.

"Only yours." He said with a goofy smile.

"God. Well I got to go home. Mom and dad are going to be home from Aunt Karen's late night. I won't tell them you are here. I won't even mention it. I'll say you're at Sarah's! Sound good?" She nodded and opened her arms.

"Hug!" She made a silly face. I went over to her and hugged her.

"I love you so much Clo Bird. See you later tonight."

"Love you more Jingle bell!"

I rolled my eyes. And turned to Zack.

"And I love you too love." I placed a small kiss on his lips.

"Not as much as I do!" He said with a smile.

I walked out the door and went into the elevator.
