Chapter 17

Third Person pov.

The blast blinded everyone. Luckily though Toni reacted early and managed to hold back the wall of fire that tried to make its way to the heroes.

"I GOT IT!" she yelled as she held her hands up in a staining effect for a few seconds before she was able to put the fire out.

Taylor, James and Andrew all ran over to Toni as she collapsed into a sitting position.

"Toni!? Are you ok!?" Taylor exclaimed as she looked over her daughter.

"Mom... I'm fine... just lacking energy," Toni responded as she waved her mom off.

"Come on Sis," Andrew put a hand out for her to take which she did and helped her to stand up.

She stood up James spotting her making sure she didn't fall back down.

Everyone looked to where the explosion had come from to see two women around the age of 27 and 21. Both women were dressed in all black, masking outfits that seemed to look a lot like a shield uniform. They had their hair up in high ponytails and matching black superheroes masks over their eyes. Loki's agents.

The smirks on their faces matched and the look of mischief gleamed in their eyes.

"Care to play?" the 25 year old asked.

"Who are you!?" Taylor demanded to know as she stepped forward.

"Oh well wouldn't you like to know?" the 21 questioned.

"Yes. yes we would!" Syd hissed.

"Oh and what you gonna do Hummingbird? It's not like you can use your powers on us! I'm a rebounder. I can rebound powers and spells back! I reverse attacks" the older fighter hissed, "So what you gonna do?"

Syd stood shocked at the reply so Jill stepped up.

"What do you want?"

"Fried food or barbecue," the younger answered as electricity started to fly from her finger tips.

Pietro narrowed his eyes at the fingers but before he could react she shot a lightning bolt at him causing Pietro to get knocked out.

"NO!" Riley screamed in horror as she turned to face the two girls rage clear in her eyes but before she could do anything a spell was cast over her freezing her in her spot along with all the other J.As and Avengers and rebels but Toni and Andrew.

The twins looked at each other in confusion and turned to look at the two girls who now had a green eyed black haired 15 year old boy with glowing golden hands staring at them.

"Chris?" Toni stuttered at the sight of her adopted cousin.

The boy didn't respond.

The older of the two women smirked, "Now come with us if you want your family to even have the chance of not being killed."

Toni bit the inside of her lower lip and started to twiddle her thumbs.

Andrew nodded slowly and put his hands up in surrender, Toni following his motion and lead.

"Good to see you two aren't idiots like your parents," the younger smirked.

"Don't call our parents idiots," Toni snarled at the girl.

"And why not? It's not like you can stop me," the girl smirked back electricity dancing around her fingertips.

"And who says I can't?" Toni snapped.

"I do," she replied, "Because if you even try to then I'll fry your entire family. You wouldn't want to be the cause of their death now would you? That's a horrible thing for the soul the dare, Isn't it?"

Toni quickly shut her mouth and looked away from the younger of the two girls.

"Good. Now follow us. Lord Loki wishes to see you," the older spoke locking eyes with Toni for only a second before braking it.

They forced Toni and Andrew to walk away from their frozen family and took them into a large throne room. The throne was occupied by Loki of course but next to him stood Scarlet who had her head down to the ground and was being held back by guards. As soon as the group walked in she looked up.

"Chris!" she cried as she pulled against the guards.

Chris locked eyes with his younger sibling and looked like he wanted to rush forward but the older of Loki's agents set a hand on his shoulder and tightened it.

Chris tensed at this and Toni noticed it and looked towards Loki with hatred, and the god just smirked.

"Let the child go," Loki spoke.

The guards automatically let Scarlet go and she rushed forward to hug Chris who did the same as her.

The two hugged before Scarlet turned to Toni and Andrew.

"TON! AND!" she exclaimed in joy rushing over to the two twins.

Scarlet got to Toni first and hugged her before going to hug Andrew.

Toni turned to Chris who watched them with a pained look in their eyes.

"You were protecting Scarlet?" Toni asked her cousin who nodded in return. He would always protect his sister.

Scarlet walked back over to Chris who hugged her again, before Loki interrupted them.

"Now that you've all had a nice reunion why don't we get down to business!" the demigod smirked as he stood up from his throne and walked over to the group.

"What do you want Loki!?" Andrew demanded to know.

"Oh child... I have what I want mostly... and I remember, your father asked me that once, along with your mother, and your grandfather, your entire family has asked me that. So I honestly suppose that you already know the answer," the Asgardian answered.

Andrew clenched his fists and tightened his jaw at this.

Scarlet held onto Chris tightly afraid Loki would take her away from him.

"Eternity, Thorrun, take the little one back to her room," Loki demanded.

The two original agents that brought Andrew and Toni into the room stepped up.

"Thorrun? Eternity?" Toni asked in surprise. She knew those names, she just couldn't remember from where. They were so familiar.

Before anything could be done the younger of the two shot a bolt of lighting at Loki knocking the god off his feet.

Meanwhile the older raised her hand to her ear and pressed on it before specking into it.

"The lord is down!" she exclaimed into the com before turning to the kids.

Then it clicked for Toni. This was her Aunt. The one that was suppose to be dead.
