Epilogue

The past

"DAD!" Taylor screamed as she ran through the Lab doors.

Tony automatically looked up at his daughter worry clearly showing in his eyes.

"Taylor what is it?" he exclaimed, demanding to know.

"It's Mom.... she's gone into labor," Taylor breath out.

Tony quickly set the wretch he had in his hand down onto the counter and bolted out of the lab and headed straight for the Medical unit in the tower. A 17 year old Taylor trailing behind him.

The two rushed into the medical unit to find the rest of the J.As and Avengers waiting outside a room.

Normally Tony would have stopped and said, 'Why did everyone else beat me to my own child's birth?' but instead he ran straight through and to the room in which Pepper was currently in labor.

Taylor stayed in the room with the Avengers and J.A.s and sat down in a chair next to James who had saved a seat for her.

"How long do you think we're going to be here?" Riley asked, her ADHD already kicking in.

"We don't know... it could take minutes or hours," Billy replied.

Riley looked at her magic cousin with a 'really?' look as did Tommy. The two speedsters had become best friends in the past 3 months. They now both had someone who could keep pace with the other.

The group sat waiting outside the room fro a good 5 hours.

It was around 1 am in the morning when the door opened.

Everyone stood up and looked to see Tony walk out. He didn't look at anyone else but Taylor.

"Come meet your new little sister," Tony beamed.

Taylor smiled and nodded and walked into the room, Tony closing the door behind her.

Pepper was in the hospital bed her eyes heavy from exhaustion. Taylor's eyes focused onto the pink blanket in her arms.

She automatically walked over to her mother.

"Hey Mom..." Taylor spoke her voice cracking halfway through.

"Taylor," Pepper smiled looking up at her daughter, "Meet your little sister Eternity."

Taylor looked down at the little bundle in her mother's arms to see her sister's chubby face.

"Oh my god," she chimed, "Hi Etern. I'm your sister, Taylor. We're going to get in so much mischief together."

The Future (alternate time line)

"Keep up you two!!!" yelled Eternity as she ran through the streets, Toni and Andrew trailing her. It had been 3 months since they had over thrown the dictators.

"Oh shut up! You're such a Stark!" Toni yelled at her Aunt.

"I would like to remind you that you're also a Stark," Eternity replied as she jumped over a car.

"So? We're also Rogers!" Andrew exclaimed.

"Like that matters!" Eternity chuckled as she slowed down from a run to a walk and stopped in front of their destination.

"Here we are..." she spoke.

"Remind me again why we're at an old SHIELD based?" Toni asked lifting an eyebrow.

"Because... Loki was hiding something here. I was one of his top commanders with Thorrun and he didn't even let us come within a block of this place," Eternity explained as she kicked down the door.

The group walked in.

"You sure there's no traps down here?" Andrew asked.

"Nope," was the reply he got.

The group slowly made it's way down the hall until they meet a 5 inch think vibranium door.

"Alright..." Toni stated, "What now? Cause I can't metal my way though that think of a door. It would take 20 minutes."

"Now.... We use the key," Eternity responded as she pulled a key out of her pocket and put it into the lock and turning it.

The door swung open to reveal a long dark room that had only the aisle lit.

"What is this room?" Andrew asked.

"Let's find out..." Eternity stated as she flipped the light switch.

One by on the lights flicked on. Orange cocoons where unveiled. They lined the aisle and layered each other.

"What are these?" Andrew asked as he walked over the closest one, Toni next to him.

Eternity walked over to a different one and stared at it.

"They're heroes..." Eternity stated no emotion showing in her voice.

"What?" Toni questioned.

"These are the bodies of all the heroes that Loki killed," Eternity explained as she pulled a knife out of her back pocket and started to cut away at a cocoon.

"WHAT!?" The twins exclaimed.

Eternity continued to chip the orange sap away from the cocoon to reveal the face of Captain Marvel. AKA Carol Danvers.

"Oh my god..." Toni gasped covering her mouth with her hands.

Then the hero's eyes snapped open.
