"Aran!!!" I heard someone yelling my name from outside.
"Aran, wake up!!!" They scream
'Ugh, why do I have such annoyin friends?' I think.
I unfold out of my bed slowly, still feeling groggy.
"Aran!!!" They scream louder.
I frustratedly turn to my window and throw it open with the curtains.
"What!!!" I scream back, closing my eats as the words fly out of my lungs.
As I open my eyes, I notice that I am face to face with Pete, if either of us were only an inch closer our noses would be touching.
"Pete!? Wh-What are ye doin here?!" I feel my cheeks burn as I stare into his green eyes.
He smiles at me and chuckled.
"I was going to ask if you wanted to go on a walk!" He chuckles again, his eyes gleaming with happiness.
'What is it with these people and walks?'
"O-Oh, really?"
"Well, yeah." He shrugs.
"Oh, ok, let me get ready!" I close the window, and quickly try to throw on some clothes and look presentable.I open the door and Pete's tall figure is standing in front of me.
"Ready?" He asks with a smirk.
"Uh, I suppose?"
"Well, you don't sound that confident." He jokes.
"Actually," I state, "I am as ready as I can ever be!" I smile proudly, even though I felt like my whole body was made out of jelly.
"Ye are!" Pete asks, his eyebrows lifting.
"That gets annoyin after awhile, ye know?"
"Well then, aren't you sassy today."
"Oh shut up ye arse and let's go." I walking straight passed him him.
"Hey! Wait up!" He jogs towards me.
"You really are sassy today!" He chuckled.
I rolled my eyes at his remark, and keep on walking.----time skip----
We get to the park, it is a warm and sunny day, filled of laughing children, and happy couples.
We walk on the path that leads through the whole entire park, the black top covered in drawings and messages little kids drew with chalk. It brought a smile to my face to see the children so happy.
Their were many parents with their children in the park, plus some young couples, as well as a few elderly couples.
One lass stands out like a sore thumb in the crowed of people though. She has long dirty blond hair, and is quit short, but doesn't seem young at all. She also looks very confused, like a young pup looking for its mother. For some reason, I get this gut feeling that she's another soul.
"Are you ok?" A deep voice cuts through my train of thought.
"What? Oh, yeah." I answer, still staring at the girl.
"Hey, Pete?" I ask
"Hmmm?" He hums.
"What do ye think of that lass over their?" I nod my head towards her
"Livin, or dead?"
Pete stares at her for awhile.
"Huh, it's kinda hard to tell actually." He pauses.
"So let's go find out!" He grabs my hand and we start walking over to the girl.
I felt my cheeks become warm again.
'Ugh, I'm such a girl!'We get close enough to the lass that she can see us. Pete starts waving his hand and jumping up and down, making strange noises as well.
I look around us, nobody is staring at us, thank goodness. I then look at the lass and her face is filled with horror, concern, and confusion.
"Vat are you doing?" Her voice is gentle, but yet cuts through the air like a knife.
'A Germain accent, interesting.' I think
