It's been a couple days since Emma was officially registered into Sanctuary. She past the test with flying colors after we explained all that we could.
She now lives a couple miles away from Meg, in a cozy little building.

The rest of the group and I have been introducing her to basically everyone. At first she was quite shy, but then she showed her true personality, which was very outgoing, bubbly, and happy!

"So, how's it been going for you so far?" I ask Emma.
"Awesome actually!" She replies happily.

"Sorry I didn't come over yesterday by the way, I totally forgot I had to babysit."
"Oh it's fine, I vasnt that lonely." She rolls her eyes as she shows an amused smile on her face.
I giggle at her actions.
"Anyway, are ve meanting the others?" She questions
"Yeah, they should be at The Table."
T

he Table is basically just a basic picnic table that we found and claimed for ourselves, because if we didn't, someone els would. Plus, it's a pretty cool table.
"Alright." Emma responds.

We walk for a few minutes, not saying a word to each other, just enjoying the beautiful scenery before us. It's that time of the year were the leaves start to change into the warm and vibrant colors that make you feel all cozy inside. It makes Sanctuary seem even more beautiful and magical thank in the summer time.

We walk together for a little while longer, until I finally see everyone in the far distance, already sitting and chatting to each other. Meg sees me and waves.
I notice that Nina is sitting in her usual weird spot, on the table, with her feet resting on the bench. Then theirs Aran, sitting like a normal person, and next to her is Pete. Across from Pete is Meg, sitting elegantly as usual, with her hands folded and her legs crossed.

"Hey, do you vant to race?" Emma asks with a grin.
"Oh, you're on!" I stop in my tracks and jokingly start to stretch, with Emma also stretching and going into ridiculous poses, small giggles escaping from both of our mouths.

"Ok, ready?" She finally asks, I nod.
"Set................GO!"

I feel my feet slap against the dirt as soon as I hear the word. My long legs stride forward as my heart beats fast in my chest. I giggle and imagine the look on Emma's face, and what she must be thinking right now.

I look over my shoulder to see if I could be a witness to such a funny site, bit instead of that, I see Emma running right on my heals. Her little legs move in a blur of motion so fast I blinked a couple times to see if my eyes were lying to me. Her hair whips behind her as she runs faster.
She runs right past me, leaving me behind in her dust. I push my legs to go faster, take longer strides. My lungs started to tighten as I try to catch up to Emma, failing miserably.

We finally stop right in front of were everybody is sitting. Emma jumps up and down with glee and victory as I hold on to the table, wheezing and coughing my lungs out. She doesn't seem fazed at all, like it was just a short jog for her.

"I vin!" Emma cheers excitedly.
"Yeah.............I think that's kinda obvious." I pant.
Nina suddenly bursts out into hysterical laughter, then Aran, then Pete, then Emma, and finally Meg.

"Jeez, you guys sure are real good friends!" I chuckle as I sit down on the bench, still trying to catch my breath a bit.
"The most amazing friends you can find in all of Sanctuary!" Nina giggles.
I see Pete in the corner of my eye, he is shaking his head, but is still laughing, quit loudly if I may add.

"Ye good Katie?" Aran asks, raising her almost invisible eyebrows.
I take another deep breath and exhale.
"Yeah, I think I'm good."
Suddenly Nina starts to make this 'O' face and bangs her palm on the table.
"Remeber when I punched that pretty boy, and we ended up dying of laughter!" Nina exclaims as she reminds us of the very funny incident.
Aran nods her head as she throws it back in laughter.
"And of exhaustion!" Aran adds.
Meg holds her hand up to her mouth as she laughs.
I myself am laughing too, just the look on his face was priceless!
"What? When did that happen?" Pete asks in shock.
"Oh it was nothing, all Nina did was punch this buttface in the face and he fell down like a brick!" I tell Pete, still giggling.
"His gang of idiots were more shocked then he was I think!" Nina bursts out.
"Yup, that sounds like Nina." Emma chuckles.

This went on for a couple of hours, the group just talking, laughing, and joking around with eachother. These are the days that make me love Sanctuary and feel so thankful for being able to go here.

"How do ye think ye died?" I hear Aran ask the group suddenly after a long time of silence.
"Heroically, I hope." Pete answers shyly.
"What? No way! You probably got into a horrible baking accident." Nina jokes. Pete rolls his eyes and waves her off.
"No, but seriously, I hope I died for a good cause or something. Something honorable, you know?" Pete responds in a serious tone.
"That's the dream. That you died a hero, like saving someone, or doing something really cool." I say.
"All I hope is that I died without leaving someone important to me behind." Meg admits, staring at the ground as if addressing it not the group.
"Well, whoever you were, or however you died, I bet all of you were amazing people when you were alive. Just like how you are still amazing even now." Nina smiles to everyone at the table.
"And I bet ye were a very cheesy person when ye were alive." Aran chuckles.
The whole group bursts into laughter. Nina just roles her eyes, but she is still smiling and obviously is amused.
I wish it could always be like this, just the six of us, in a cozy little spot tucked in between dimensions were no one could hurt us. That would be amazing, but sadly, that is not how it is.

My heart starts to race and I feel my smile disappears as I hear the awful screeching noise of the alarm horn.

'This can't be good.'
