Ariana's POV:
I just stood there in the middle of the battle. I didn't fight, or even move. I was just watching everything happen. I even saw Caleb get smashed by Vitana. After Brandon runs over to help Leyla, I walk over to where Caleb is. Giovanni is covering his leg in leaves. He looks up to see me. "Where were you?" He asks, tieing a knot. "Um ... nothing." I say, sadly. "You could of helped us." He says, angrily. "Fighting isn't my critique, Ok!" I say out of frustration.
"I didn't know what to do! So I froze up, just like every other time I get nervous." I say. Then I lean against the wall. I can feel my eyes getting watery, doesn't matter. Giovanni looks at me with confusion. "I thought you were a hero. Brave, strong. Hero's don't give up because they get nervous. Ok, you made a mistake, so what!?" He says. I wipe the tears from my eyes.
"You just need to over come your nervousness. And right now, is a good time to do that." He says, looking at Vitana getting up.
He's right! I can't just give up because I'm nervous. "I'll protect you two." I say. And walk in the direction of Vitana. "Oh look, it's Mrs. Freeze up. Whatcha going to do, stare at me?" Vitana plays.
"Look, your words won't hurt me anymore. And I won't let you defeat Caleb." I say, proudly. "Guess I'll have to smash you too." And she dashes at me with drill hands. What's my power? Earth?
I focus, I imagine the ground lifting out from under me. I open my eyes. Now I'm in the air, on a piece of rock. I think right, the rock moves right. Left, the rock moves left. Ok, I get this now.
I lift my hands up and rocks come up from the ground. I point at Vitana, and all the rocks fly at her. She starts spinning the drills on her arms. She smashes the rocks when they get close enough. Then she jumps up and smashes the rock I was standing on. I'm falling. I call the floor to come save me.
Then suddenly, the rock the size of a boulder appears under me. I fall and slide down the side. IDEA! I push the boulder towards Vitana, which wasn't hard. She turns her drills to giant gloves again and tries to stop the boulder. Doesn't exactly work out.
Yes she catches it, but it keeps pushing her back until she slams into Entrance doors. I'm waiting for the boulder to be sent flying back at me. But it remains unmoving.
I wipe the sweat off my head. I turn back to Giovanni. He says, "I could of done it better." I launch a pebble at him.
