Caleb's POV:
We're walking down the caveman exhibit when I hear people screaming. "I can guess who that is." Giovanni says. We run in the direction of the scream. We arrive at the dinosaur exhibit. No ones there."I swear the scream came from here." I said. "Don't swear, that's bad." Ariana says. "Fine, I could tell you that the sound came from here. Better?" I ask. "Yep." Ariana says, blushing.
"Guys look." Giovanni says, pointing at the platform. "There's nothing there." I say. "Exactly, isn't that where the T-Rex was?" He asks. "Yeah it was." Ariana says. We look around, searching for something else. I look at the ground to see foot prints. And not just any footprints, Tyrannosaurus Rex foot prints.
"Guys, come over here." I call. They rush over and realize just what happened. "But ... that's not possible." Ariana says. "Actually, it is. Chris has the power to bring inanimate objects to life, or leave them inanimate." "That's a crazy power." I say. "Anyway, that's one of his powers. You guys should be careful. Y'all won't know what else will pop out at you."
"Ok, thanks Henry. Come on guys, lets follow these foot prints." I say, following the footprints. We follow the footprints around the whole museum. Then we see the T-Rex. But it's an inanimate object now. We run over to the dinosaur.
I touch it, hesitantly. It's still not moving. "I guess he turned it back to normal." I say. "Do you think their in there?" Ariana asks, pointing to the door in front of the dino. It says Employees Only on the door. "That's where they were before." I say. I pushed forward on the door. It opens inward (luckily, I didn't want to look like a fool who pushes a pull door).
"Its a hallway." Giovanni says. "Let's go down the hallway, maybe their behind the door over there." Ariana says. We all walk together towards the other door. Ariana pushes the door open. We see Leyla, Brandon, Anthony, and Olivia tied up, gaged, and a flaming forcefield around them.
"Ok, I didn't expect that." Ariana says. I blow away the forcefield with my wings, and melt the metal band around them off. The others ungag them. "You guys need to get to the entrance. They're going to finish what Kad's dad was doing. By 'fixing' the people in town." Olivia tells.
"But there has to be darkness for them to live. Kad's father actually made the town dark. There's day and night now." I say. "So now their going to die because, what are they going to ... absorb(?) during the day?" Leyla asks. "I don't know, but what I do know is that we need to stop them." I say. The others agree.
We run/fly/surf towards the other door. What a 'normal' day.
