It all started with one cup. One cup to change her life.

This story is of how only one cup of coffee could change a person's life. Take Scarlett Moore for example. She's just your average everyday 32 year old teacher. She loved children and loves to teach them. In her free time she loves to draw. All of her friends say she should pursue an artist career, but she loves teaching too much to give it up.

Every Saturday, she would go to her local library and draw in the peace and quiet. It would always help her think and she loved it. She came from a rich backround. Her parents were workaholics and never had time for Scarlett, but they gave her everything. They bought a house for her and her best friend. She had almost everything she could've dreamed of having; an amazing job she loves, a house that she shared with her best friend, Juliet Roberts, but something was missing. Someone else to share her life with. Someone, meaning a guy she loved. She never really loved anyone. Except one person, but he was way out of the picture.

Many people have told her she was beautiful, but she could never believe them. Even though she was quite confident, she always had that little self-conscious problem. She was always dressing to impress and always putting on makeup because she never liked to be judged, always being scared of someone going to call her ugly.

This Saturday was different. Even though she was at the library drawing away, she felt it the moment she had woken up. Something was going to happen today and she didn't know what, but she prepared herself as usual. She was drawing a beautiful red rose and just let all her emotions go into the drawing and didn't notice a stranger sit down across from her at her usual table and look at her intently.

"Excuse me miss?" A velvety voice had asked. She sighed in annoyance and put down her pencil to her almost finished rose. She looked up at the most beautiful man she had ever laid her hazel eyes on. Her breath had hitched in her throat and she could barely manage to stutter out a word,

"Y-yes?" He had smiled and his teeth were a pearly white color.

"I was wondering, what would a beautiful woman, like yourself, be doing in a place like this?" His voice like velvet, spoke again. She couldn't help but cock a grin at his compliment.

"Thank you," she squeaked out. He smiled this time, genuinely. "The quiet helps me think when I need to." He nodded to her response and opened his mouth to speak, but closes his mouth quickly.

Was there something wrong with her hair or something? This man looked awfully familiar to her. She wonders if she's ever seen him before. She sighed, going back to her drawing.

She scribbled a few lines on the paper before the gentleman spoke again, "What's your name?" Should she tell him her real name? How does she know that he's not some creep that wants to get in her pants?

"Scarlett Moore, but you can just call me Scarlett," I answered. He nodded quickly and outstretched his arm for me to shake his hand.

"Benedict. Benedict Cumberbatch, but you can call me Benedict or Ben, whatever you prefer." That's why he looked so familiar! He's fucking Sherlock Holmes from the best television show ever aired.

Scarlett took his hand and shook it with a nod of her head and a slight smile. He had no idea she was trying to contain herself so much. My god, he looked even more perfect in real life!

"What are you drawing there? Something interesting I presume? You seem to be not even making an effort to draw so beautifully." Did he really have to be so much of a gentleman? God. She suddenly felt heat rise to her cheeks as they turned a rosy color.

She picked up her paper and showed him her drawing. He looked starstruck. Was she really that good? Must be something for her idol to come into her local library, tell her she's beautiful, and tell her that her drawing is magnificent with just facial expressions. Ha.

"This is really good, Scarlett! Quite the artist?" He exclaimed. More heat rose to her cheeks as they turned a more crimson color. She muttered a "thanks" with a slight nod as he gave her back her paper. "So I was wondering if you would like to go out for coffee later on? Or if now's not a good time, I'm sure-"

"Now's fine. I have nothing to do on Saturdays. That's why I come here to draw,' She interrupted him, with a sweet tone to her voice. He gave her another one of those genuine smiles. Her heart fluttered as butterflies started to enter her stomach. Would you react this way as well if your favorite male actor was asking you out to coffee? I thought so.

"Alright then! Off we go?" He held out an arm for me to take. I took it and happily we walked to the coffee cafe together.

A/N- Hey guys! Do you like it? Omg please tell me you do. It took me awhile to actually come up with this so could you please just tell me below in the comments if you liked it or not!? It would be a very nice thing for you to do... Switching it up a bit! No One Direction in this story, sorry! Also, I am very sorry it is short, but the next chapter will be longer! I promise! Well, if you haven't already noticed, the actor portraying Scarlett is Katie McGrath and Ben is playing himself. Also! It is only in this chapter that it will be in third person, the next chapter, it will be in first person in Scarlett's POV! Yeah, I'm going to stop rambling so you can get on with your lives! Vote, comment!! Bye!
