Chapter 6

This morning was the usual routine. It was just so common to me I barely needed to think about it. Well except for the makeup and hair. I needed to think about that it else I would look like an absolute mess.

Off subject! It was the usual and once I got to school everyone seemed to be looking at me. What was their problem? I'm just a normal teacher like them, goodness.

I entered my classroom as casually as I could and sat down at my desk. I let out a sigh that I didn't know I was keeping in.

Then something weirder happened.

The teacher that was next door came rushing into my room and over to me. I was startled and moved from my slouched position to a straighter one and put my hands on my desk.

Her face was full of excitement. What was her problem?

"Is it true?"

Huh?

My face contorted into a confused state and she must have noticed.

"Are you actually going out with a celebrity?" She looked like she was about to start jumping up and down with how excited her face looks. How can someone smile that much?

Oh.

She was talking about Ben. Well I didn't want him to get mobbed next time he comes, if he comes. I'll just have to lie I guess to cover him.

"Oh no that's not me. You must be thinking about someone else. I have absolutely no chance with him. None whatsoever. It's someone else I'm seeing..." Damn I suck at lying. I really hope she falls for it. I would be a terrible actor...

"Oh, I must be confusing you with someone who looks like you. Well okay. Sorry to bother you. Have a nice day," she smiled at me and walked back to her room.

Yes! She fell for it! Phew! I wasn't ready for the other teachers to know it was him just yet. God I can't believe they just let pretty much anyone into this teacher business. It's sad to see how many dumb blondes get let in this. I feel bad actually..

Oh well.

I didn't notice it, but I started to draw again. Ugh, I draw so much... Why do I have to draw so much?! Meh.

I need to focus on my job right now so I got up and got the classroom ready for the day. Well I'm not sure if Ben is going to come today or tomorrow or the next day. Whatever. It's sometime and I hope I'm ready for it.

The day was just scraping by and I just really wanted to see Ben. Tomorrow was Friday and I couldn't help but squeal at the thought of going on another date with my celebrity crush but it's coming true.

Holy crap buckets!!

I let out a sigh and started to get my things ready to go home. Today wasn't my turn for duty so I was free to go home. Hallelujah!

I really did want to see Ben though. His face could lighten up my day within a millisecond of any time. I smiled at the thought as I rushed out to my car, a lot of heavy things in my hands. I could handle it because I was a strong person, but it was still heavy.

I approached my car and opened the passenger side door and put my things in the seat. I closed the door and went around my car to the driver's side. I opened the door and slid into the seat.

I took a deep breath and turned on my car. I needed the air conditioning because it was a little hot today. It was supposed to cool off tomorrow so I was glad. I wanted to wear my favorite skinny jeans and that would require cooler weather so I wasn't complaining right now.

I really wanted to talk to Ben so I sent him a text, Hey! Sorry if you're busy... Just wanted someone to talk to! -Scar

With that, I drove out of the school parking lot and back to my house. I knew that Jules wasn't going to be here because she was at the university doing school stuff so I was going to be alone for a bit. And I know what that meant...
