Chapter 12

[Aquakit's POV]

"Come on Tinykit! You have to open your eyes sooner or later! I'll die of boredom if you don't do it sooner!" I begged to Tinykit who still had not opened her eyes.

She didn't do much. She meowed a little but it never made any sense even to me. She couldn't even open her eyes yet. I felt so bad for her. She might of been the runt but I wished she could open her eyes so I can see what color her beautiful eyes were. Yea, I haven't seen her eyes but I knew they would be beautiful. I just have a feeling like that.

"I-I can't!" She whined. I sighed and let her lie down on my side. At least she was making a little more sense. Though it wasn't much, I knew she could do more. I licked her ear comfortably.

"It's alright, I just don't want you to be left out much longer." I told her. "It's hard to see the other kits play together and I stay back here with you and Creamkit."

"Hey! Just because I'm blind doesn't mean I can't hear you!" Creamkit growled at us. I chuckled.

"You'll never find me anyways so what do I have to worry about?" I asked her tauntingly. I wasn't trying to make fun of her. I didn't want to hurt my little sister at all.

"I'll find you!" She growled at me lashing her cream colored tail back and forth in anger. I chuckled a little and looked to Tinykit.

"Alright, I think I can try again." She said softly. She tried to open her eyes again. This time she succeeded though! Once she opened her eyes she had sparkling blue eyes.

"Wow," was all I could say. I think it was the only thing my brain could say too.

"Lots of colors." She giggled and pawed at me. I laughed a little more.

"Come on, let's go show Flamefur," I told her getting up. She got up slowly and looked to me keeping her blue eyes on me. I felt a little uncomfortably but I dealt with it. My one wish came true and that's all that mattered right then.

We walked over to where Flamefur was with all of her other kits. Blackkit was tackling Fuzzykit and Lightkit sometimes. Emberkit and Maplekit where climbing up on Metalclaw.

"What's wrong Aquakit, Tinykit?" Flamefur asked softly looking to both of us. I was going to let Tinykit say what had happened but she stayed behind me quietly.

"Well Tinykit opened her eyes." I said and stepped back and nudged Tinykit in front of me. She kept her head down before she finally looked up. Her sibling all started to crowd her around and I was pushed away. I sighed and went back into the den. I laid down in my best and put my head on my paws. I didn't think I ever would be important to her. I was just some other kit that no one really cared about.

Oh I'm so evil..... I'm going to make their story sadder than what actually happened. Yea, poor Aquakit. I actually love him but he's suppose to be kinda lonely and sad right now.
