David got up, laughing when Ian groaned in protest. "I'm just putting another log on the fire."
Ian sighed, nestling further under the blanket. "Don't freeze."
He laughed, grabbing a log off the pile and putting it in the fire. The power had gone out a few hours ago, so they'd started a fire in the fireplace.
David got under the blanket, slipping his hands under Ian's shirt.
"Ah! Hey! Stop! Your hands are fucking freezing!"
David laughed. "But you're warm..."
Ian swatted his arms. "No!"
David sighed, pulling his hands away. He pouted lightly. "I'm cold..."
Ian laughed, pulling him closer. "Ah, comere you piece of shit."
David nuzzled his face into Ian's neck, kissing it gently. "Love you."
"I love you too." Ian smiled, curling up next to David. He sleepily laid on top of him, feeling David shift into a laying position, Ian's head on his chest.
Ian slowly drifted off, the only sounds David's breathing, heartbeat, and the quiet crackling of the fire.
David smiled, stroking Ian's hair softly as he slept.
He felt his eyelids grow heavy, and fell asleep.

When Ian woke up, he was cuddled into David's chest, and David was sleeping with his arms around him.Ian smiled, pressing a soft kiss to David's lips. "Morning sleeping beauty."
David smiled as he woke. "Aww, you think I'm pretty?"
"Yeah, you're gorgeous." Ian laughed, laying on David's chest.
David sat up, almost knocking Ian off the couch. "Sorry babe."
Ian rolled his eyes, shifting off David's lap. "How long were we asleep?"
"Long enough for the power to come back. I'm just going to check and make sure no pipes burst."
Ian watched as David began to walk around their house, checking every room. He heard a loud curse upstairs, and rushed up.
"A pipe burst in the guest room..."
Ian leaned against the doorway. "Shit..."
David ran a hand through his hair. "I'll go call someone."
Ian stepped into the room, avoiding the water on the floor. David was already on his phone, looking for someone nearby. He wrapped his arms around David's waist as David called someone.
When he hung up, David sighed. "I moved to California to avoid cold winters," he grumbled.
"Ah, yeah. But you met me, so that's something, right."
"Fair point." David kissed Ian gently and lovingly. "Think any of the guys will be willing to help tear up this carpet?"
"I'm pretty sure Joven will be fine with helping out. Everyone else we can convince with pizza."
"Yeah, probably." He leaned against Ian, sighing softly.
"Love you."
"Love you too."
