"I'm so sorry about your loss," Said a teary eyed man in a impeccable, expensive business suit, it's Mr Parker my fathers closest friend, "for now you will be in my care, but only for a while, well at least until you get a place at Madame Lazzelle's home for Troubled Children."
I took a seat, tears threatening to fall. I thought back to when I saw my parents' bodies, they looked so different but it that didn't matter to me as I would only remember the good times and how beautiful my mother looked and how handsome my father was. My life only went down hill from there. So we clambered into his Toyota Yaris and we drove in a sad silence, he tried to say something once or twice but stopped himself seeing my miserable face. We arrived around 40 undeniably boring minutes later, a tear had streaked down my flushed cheek. There before me stood a semi detached house made of beige brick and with a slate riled roof. I managed a lousy smile and I went through the peeling green front door.
Once inside the house, I was surprised. Mr Parker seemed like a cheery person who would have his house painted in vibrant colours, so I was not expecting what is saw. Everything was white. The walls were white. The floor was white. The only things with colour were plaques of DNA diagrams showing complicated, detailed structures twisting and weaving through itself. A strange label in golden letters presented itself bellow it, probably the name of the DNA. He must be a scientist like my parents were. A woman came round a corner which I presumed led to the sitting room, she smiled at me, a warm glow filling her cheeks. Her hair was muddy blonde and her eyes an ocean blue. Then two boys followed her, one had his father's creamy brown hair that was styled spikily and the other aurled, jet black haired boy. "Hey Stacey, we've heard so mch about you," The brown haired boy said, whom I had just noticed was considerably taller than the other boy I assumed was his brother, "I'm Milo and this is Jeremy, my twin." For twins they looked majorly different. "They will show you your room." The kind looking lady said sweetly. So I reluctantly followed the two boys up a pair of steep stairs, along a long plain corridor and into a room with a boring wooden door. The room was nothing special just a room with beige walls,a bed and a small wardrobe. I was obviously grateful and that but how I missed my own bedroom, my house and well, my parents. When the boys had left I started to unpack all my stuff and then I pulled out the photo of me and my parents, all the tears I been holding in poured out.
I didn't want to go to sleep because I knew what I would dream about, but nonetheless I did.

'I'm beside my parents, they are working at a desk, muttering occasionally. A figure approaches, a serpent. I scream at them, run to safety, run to safety, but they cant hear me. Brown and leathery skin and wings, with fire pits as eyes, hooked yellow claws and then it spoke in a brash voice. "Where is the girl!?" They turn abruptly and my mother lets out a little cry of horror. That creature was bloody nightmare material. "What girl?" My father asks arrogantly, but I can see him breaking into a sweat. "That girl!" It says pointing to a picture of us and Bob, that was taken last January. "Ermmmm......" My father says. "TELL ME MR LIAR!!!!!" The creature screams  spit flying in all directions, he is gradually advancing them. "You can't have her!!!!" My mother cries tears flying from her eyes. The creature thrusts his claws straight through her chest. My father yells, "YOU SON OF A....!!!" He jumps onto the creatures back and jabs a massive syringe into the creatures right shoulder. "FOOLISH MORTAL!!!!" The creature exclaims batting my father into the wall. But he comes back better than a boomerang, coming forward holding a knife. My father stabs it in the wing and it cries in agony and stabs my father with his blood covered claws. Then it all goes blank.'

I sat upright and screamed, tears pour from my eyes. Mr Parker and his wife burst in and saw me hugging my knees crying. "You okay?" Mr Parker slurs him and his wife sat next to me. "It's okay honey," Mrs Parker whispers putting her arm around me, "it's perfectly understandable."

*The Next Day*
I sat miserable at the breakfast table slowly eating a bowel of muesli. Milo tried to start a conversation but my foul mood made him hold back. Life was in comprehensively dull and grey, despite Milo and Jeremy's efforts I didn't talk to either of them that day and didn't for the next three, I stayed locked in my room on my mobile phone, (oh yeah forgot about old Bruce didn't you? Anyway back to the story). Luckily in my school bag that day I had some mere essentials, sweets, phone charger, notebook, pen and a few other things that got me through the next two weeks. Yeh I was meant to go to school but I was in such a state of grief and mourning that it wasn't possible. So I stayed locked in my room and the weeks dragged by until that fateful day that made my life turn into the madness and dangerous it is today. Mr Parker walks in to my room on a sunny Saturday evening and he sits on the end of my bed. He looks solemn and mildly frightened. "Stacey guess what?" He asked softly.
"I couldn't possibly guess." I said flatly. "Well you have got a place at that orphanage for troubled children I was talking about," he began.
"YOU THINK I'M TROUBLED?!" I roared my temper flaring and my eyes ablaze.
"No, no, Stacey," He pleads,"we're leaving at first light, we understand you've been through a lot lately, but you don't need to bloody well take it out on us!" He semi yelled, his finger wavering in the air. Ha, this didn't shut me up.
"WHY DON'T YOU TRY LOOSING BOTH PARENTS IN ONE DAY, AND THEN BEING SHIPPED OF TO SOME ORPHANAGE FOR FLIPPIN' TROUBLED CHILDREN, LEAVING EVERYONE I LOVE BEHIND! HOW WOULD YOU FEEL!?!" I screamed at him but he just looks at me in sadness. "You really are just like your father"...
