AGK TNA [Zero] part 1 of 2: Akame and the lion

Our world isn't one for the weak, from childhood I was trained and brainwashed by the Empire in order to become a killing machine. Eventually I broke free from the chains of this corrupted kingdom and betrayed my former comrades.

Luckily upon my betrayal I was taken under the wing of a woman named Najenda. She worked for the Revolutionary Army, though I wasn't quite sure what she was in charge of. That said she had the same goal as mine, so when I was offered the chance to join her newly form group I joined without hesitation.

"What is it Najenda?"

I ask after being summoned by Najenda for yet another mission.

"There's a mysterious killer with lion-like features acting up in outskirts of the capital. I believe whoever this assassin is, she could be a valuable asset to us. You're mission is rather simple and straight forward, recruit this beastly killer, but beware she may mistake you for one of the empire's agents."

She explains.

Without saying a word I accept her order and quickly pack my things before heading out into the lonely jouney. As always nothing by tress and leafs covered the outskirts of the revolutionary army hidden stronghold.

I was never one to waste time asking questions and today was no different.

"H-hey! Wait for me!"

A voice comes from behind me.

I stop and look over my shoulder only to sigh at the sight of a head full of green hair and a green coat...Lubbock.

"Najenda didn't tell ya? I'm coming with!"

He said before finally catching up to me.

In all honesty this kid wasn't my favourite. His cocky attitude and perverted jokes annoyed the hell out of me.

"...Fine then."

I say before continuing on my way with Lubba following closely behind.

A few days worth of travelling go by.

After listening to Lubbock endless pickup lines and all his efforts to get to know me more, we arrive at the outskirts of the Capital.

As expected it was a small town with many bars and small shops, for some odd reason though, the place was deserted.

"Search the area..she's around here somewhere."

I say sensing a powerful murderous intent in the air.

The sun begins to set causing the town to slowly decent into darkness.

I scan the area while taking a casual walk around the town with Lubba a few meters apart from me. At the edge of the same city there was a small forested area much too dark to see through.

"Must be where you're hiding."

I think and I call Lubba over.

"Their in here, I can tell."

I say feeling the more deadly presense become stronger. Lubba nodds and we head in. With each step only more darkness begins to surround us both, only the light of the moon made us visible.

I hear a snap sound in the distance, placing my hand on my weapon I see Lubba prepare aswell.

"Heh..heh.."

A voice echoes from the thick trees to my right. I turn my head only to be targeted to a large yellow figure I couldnt make out in a such a quick moment, coming head on. As quick as light I jump out of the way.
