Quinn's mom, Kristine, Savanna's mom, Vanessa, Haley's mom, Angela, and Emily's mom Cary all gathered around the table tearily. "Where could of they gone?" Angela said putting her face in her hands.
The moms decided to all meet at the local Starbucks and talk about it because all of their daughters had gone missing at the same time. "Why had they all decided to suddenly become friends?" Kristine asked. She felt a little out of place because they had been in Portland for a year.
Angela shrugged. "Who knows, but where could of they gone?"
Cary shook her head. "I don't think the would of run away..."
Vanessa set her cup on the table. "They wouldn't of! They were great girls! They had good grades, they were athletic, and they were popular!"
Cary looked at all the other moms grimly. They all knew one thing the girls had in common. "It can't be.." A sudden silence fell on the table for a moment.
"But, I thought she was dead..." Kristine said.
Vanessa looked at all the other girls. "They wouldn't have run away. So she mu-"
Vanessa was interrupted by a loud laugh coming from the front of the counter. The moms turned their heads to see who it was and not to their surprise stood Natasha, Araceli's mom. All the moms knew very well that Araceli had been bullied by their daughters, but Haley, Angela's daughter was friends with her, but that didn't mean that Angela liked her. She was clearly talking on an earpiece, but she pulled it out. "Girls! Good to see you!" she said too dramatically.
"I heard about the news!" she said happily.
"Are you happy about it?" Angela spat.
"No, of course not! Angela and Haley were the best of friends and now Araceli is devasted" she said as she put on a sad face.
"I'm sorry, did we ask you to come over here?" Cary spat angrily.
Natasha squinted at her. "Excuse me, you should be grateful that we didn't do anything to your daughters, or at I didn't." She put her earpiece back in and turned around to walk to the door.
"What did you just say to us?" Kristine said and stood up, but Natasha was already walking out the door.
