Dells pov
On Monday morning, I was walking down the hallway, heading to homeroom as normal, when I passed Ellington. I don't know what I excepted but I certainly didn't except him to stop and talk to me.
"Hey dells"he said as I opened my locker and started tossing books into it.
"Hey Ellington"
"I told you not to call me that"
I gave him a small smile.
"So what are you doing after school?"
"Why do you wanna know?"
"Because I was wondering if you wanted to do something with me"
"Sorry but I have a report due tomorrow"
"Yea ok"
"Do you want a ride home"
"It's fine I'll walk"
"I'll drive you"
"Fine"
We walk to his car in the parking lot and i hop in the passager seat.
We rode in silence for only about 5 minutes until ell broke the silence.
"Hey I hope we're friends again, I know it's been pretty weird between us since everything happened but I hope that we can change that"ell said.
"We'll try"I said smiling.
"I've missed you"he says really cute like.
"I've missed you too"I replied.
"Are you free on Friday?" He asked.
"Yea what did you have in mind?"
"It's a surprise, so is that a yes?"
"Sure what the heck"
"Ok I'll pick you after school"
"Ok"I said as I got out of his car.
"Bye" he said.
I waved back as I opened the door to my house.
"Hey holt, woah your home early"
"Uh yeah I caught a ride"
"With who?"
"Just Ellington"
"Ellington Meyer"
I nodded.
"Woah you haven't mentioned him in ages, how come he suddenly pops up"
"We hung out at Madison's party a little and I don't know it just happened"
"Oh well it's good, I like that boy except when he abandoned you in middle school"
"He didn't necessarily abandon me I did block him out"
"Ok honey"
"Oh mom"
"Yeah"
"I'm going out with ell Friday after school"
"Ohhhh a date"
"No it's not a date were just hanging out ok"
"Sure"
"Bye mom"I said walking out of the room.
I finished the book I started Friday night and flopped on my bed, nothing was on TV so I turned my light off and fell asleep smiling.
