The Dancing Mistake (Requested)

"So what did Mrs. Leven give us for our duet dance this week?", I asked my partner Hayes as I braided my blonde hair into a French braid.

He looked up at me with a chuckle and replied back saying, "We are doing an Argentine tango!"  I widened my eyes in excitement. "I can't believe it!" I am going to be dancing with Hayes as an Argentine Tango! I've never done one with Hayes before, I hope it goes well!

"Remember to keep your arms and shoulders still as you move your back foot for the climax of the dance", Mrs. Leven told me as I was packing my dance bag up. "Ok, is there any other things that I need to work on over the weekend?" She rubbed her forefinger on her chin before saying, "Not that I know of, but please make some time in your schedule to practice with Hayes, and I'm sure you'll get the routine drilled into your head. Other than that, you are doing beautifully with How you move." I smiled slightly. And with that, I thanked My dance teacher and walked out of the studio.

Oh, I didn't tell you guys a little about me yet. My name is Shianne, and I'm getting trained to become a professional ballroom dancer. My partner Hayes, has been dancing for 12 years, as for me, 13. I've known him ever since we were 3 years old, and he lives right next door to me! I've had a HUGE crush on him ever since I was 6. And over the past few years, we've become best friends. So I guess you could say that we know each other like the back of our hands.

"Do you wanna go over the dance one more time?" He asked.  I looked down in all silence before nodding my head to him.

"And I think you're supposed to dip me, Hayes". He looked at me in confusion. "I asked Mrs. Leven", I lied. "Ok then" he said with a normal tone". I tricked him! Yes! I added the dip part so that I could just get a little pleasure of staring into his Icy blue orbs. I love them :)

"Turn your hips around and...DIP".
He slightly tipped my torso down and I suddenly fell. Fortunately, I didn't hurt myself as bad as I thought I would. "Are you ok Shianne?"  I look up in distress before saying, "Yes I'm ok, but we should go over the last part. That seems to be the mistake in the dance".

We went over the dance a couple more times, and we got it right eventually. "Turn your HIPS, and dip!". And we did. But this time, he held me in the last position for a lot longer than I expected. He slowly lifted me up and he looked into my blue eyes as I stared into his. He looked at my lips and back at my eyes. I looked at his lips and back at his eyes. We both slowly leaned towards each other and we locked lips.

As we both pulled away, I smiled and looked down, and he was looking at my eyes. "Shianne, I've been hiding my feelings for you for nearly 9 years. Will you please be my girlfriend?" I smiled at him with tears in my eyes as I said "I'd be honored". We both hugged each other and he kissed my cheek.
