I start to feel my face turn to a deep red, "Um, what?" I tell Eren.
He stands up from the couch and pulls me up from the carpet. Butterflies in my stomach, as his warm hand touches mine. Oh freckled jesus is this happening right now?!
"You heard me, (y/n), I love you, I love you, I love you, from the first day I met you, when I first saw your bright smile and rosy cheeks, I knew, I love you." The green eyed boy tells me gently.
I mentally scream in my head, unable to move or speak. I look up at Eren and see a faint pink tint on his cheeks, and loving eyes, "I-I-I'm sorry Eren, we can't do this here." I whisper to him, looking away from everyone.
He pulls me closer and embraces me in a hug, "No, tell me now, do you love me back? I need to know so that all this nonsense can end."
My heart skips a beat and a tear falls from my eye. I push Eren off and start to move away, "Excuse me? Nonsense? If loving me is nonsense, then screw off!" I yell at him, running out the door not even bothering to put my coat or shoes on, quickly heading home. I hear Sasha yell at Eren, and everyone calling my name.
"Don't look back." I whisper to myself.
My feet immediately start to feel frozen, but I don't care, because the warm tears falling from my face and hurting heart distract me. Why? Why did Eren say that? His love for me was nonsense? Well, then, I guess my love for him was nonsense too.
An idea pops into my head, and I run past the road that leads to my house.
I know exactly where I'm going.
