Levi x Reader x Eren | Helpless

Ch. 9 - Sass Queen.

(A/N *evil laughing* honey you got a big storm ahead of you.)

(i realize christmas is wayyyyy past us, but I haven't updated in forever, so I'm trying to catch up to our current time.)

"Yes! I finally get to drink all the eggnog I wish to!" Sasha exclaims.

"You must be so happy." Mikasa answers, tossing her red scarf over her shoulder.

"Are you kidding me? I'm more than happy, my mouth is already watering at the thought of all that figgy pudding."

I laugh along with my friends as we walk down the sidewalk to my house. We just got out of school into Winter Break, and boy, let me tell you I was excited. After the exams I'm happy we get to have a two week break from all the stress. Mikasa, Armin, Sasha, Eren and I were sharing laughter and exchanging ideas for a secret santa.

"So, Armin," I turn my attention to him as the other continue to talk to each other, "What do you think Eren would like? I'm just making sure, just in case I get him for our secret santa."

Armin put his hand under his chin as he began thinking.

"Now Armin, it doesn't have to be anything big. Just something small, but he'll still like it."

"I know Eren loves over-sized sweaters, that's why this is his favorite time of the year." Armin tells me, smiling. Which causes me to smile back, this tiny blonde boy can always make your day better.

Well, now that I know what to get Eren, I think I'm all set for this years Christmas. Even if I don't get Eren as my secret santa, I know I still want to get him some nice sweaters. Who knows? Maybe he'll let me borrow some, If i ever happen to stay the night. He and I are friends with benefits after all. Speaking about that, ever since that night, we haven't really been acknowledging each other lately. Well, Eren hasn't been acknowledging me lately. That's why tonight, when we're all playing board games and watching Netflix, I'm going to pull him into his room and straighten things out.

I must admit, during exams week, I was able to sort my 'love life' out. I told Petra that I may have a small crush on Levi, and she told me she'll try and help me get closer with him so I would be able to see if I really did want him to be my one and only. With Eren though, I have to be honest, he is my number one choice at the moment. I am getting a little skeptical though, since he's been ignoring me and all.

But that's the whole point of tonight. To straighten things out. I have told Sasha and Mikasa about it, so we have things planned out if Eren doesn't want to come with me to his room.

As we were walking, I noticed we were approaching the Starbucks that Petra and her squad works at. 

"Hey guys, can we stop by to get some pumpkin spice latte's?" I suggested, secretly just wanting to see Levi. 

Everyone stops and turns to me, staring for a second before Sasha speaks up, "Yeah sure (Y/n)!" I noticed Eren was in the back of the group, just staring off into the distance

I give a pleased smile and we all walk into the Starbucks, enduring the aroma of coffee beans and muffins. I lead my friends to a small circular table right next to the window, and they all sit down. 

"I'm going to order for us, what do you guys want?" I ask them.

Sasha quickly asks Armin and Eren, and nods her head, "Armin, Eren, and I just want pumpkin spice latte's." 

I turn to Mikasa, "A caramel macchiato would be fine for me, (Y/n)." 

"An iced beverage? In this weather?" I ask Mikasa, concerned if she'll get a headache or something. 

She shoots me a glare, "I said a caramel macchiato, please." Mikasa told me, with this scary tone in her voice.

I put my hands in the air, "Okay, okay, I was just concerned since it's freezing outside, and you want something cold."

"Well I'm fine with drinking something cold, thank you."

I just nod my head before sticking my hand out into the middle of the table. Cash gets immediately thrown into the palms of my hands. Is this what being a stripper feels like? Because it's pretty awesome. 

I notice Sasha only gave me two dollars, "What the heck, Sasha? This isn't enough for me to buy a latte for you."

I see she ignored me and just continues to stare out the window. 

"Sasha!" I half-yell, "Don't ignore me."

She finally slowly turns around with a cheeky smirk on her face, "Hehe, sorry (Y/n), I'm sort of broke right now. Can you just pay for me for now? I promise I'll pay you back." 

"Fine, fat ass." I tell her, before walking away very sassy like.

I walk towards the counter and put on my prize-winning smile, gotta be prepared if Levi's working the shift. I know I shouldn't be feeling too excited to see shorty, but after not seeing him in a long time, I'm just excited to talk to him, even if he'll give me sarcastic remarks.

I glance back at my friends and see they were all conversing, even Eren. Does that mean he doesn't like me?

"Ahem." I hear the all too familiar voice say.

I turn around and smile, it was him, "Levi! I didn't know you worked afternoon shift too?" I lie, I knew he worked afternoon shift because I saw him in there through the window one time while walking home from school.

"Well, yeah I do. Congratulations for finding out! Now, can you just please tell me your order?" He tells me. Wow, he was acting more rude today than usual.

I scoff, "Ha, wow, no need to be so rude, shorty."

"What did you call me?" Levi snaps back, laying his hands on his hips, "Because last time I checked, I'm taller than you."

I roll my eyes and chuckle, "Asshole. You know, I still can't believe you told all your friends I was a pervert, considering the face that I saw you reading smut in detention that one time!"

Levi was about to open his mouth to say something, but was soon stopped by who I'm guessing was his boss, "Levi, can you go to the back? I need to speak to you about something."

Levi just gives me a glare, in which I return him with a middle finger.

"I apologize about him, he's always getting into arguments with the customers." The tall blonde guy tells me, "I'm his boss, Erwin, so may you please just tell me your order, and put all that arguing behind you?"

I loosen up, "Okay, yeah, sure."

I quickly tell Erwin my order, and give him the money and return to the table.

I sigh. "What took so long (Y/n)? You look stressed?" Armin asks me.

"Nothing, I just learned something new today," I say before putting my head into my hands, "Levi sure is one hell of a sass queen."
