Prompt: describe your ideal reading set up, using as much detail and imagery as possible
What's the most comfortable reading position? Sitting in a big, cushiony chair, so big that I can fit my entire body into, all curled up around my book. Wrapped in a thick, soft blanket, sipping a hot drink, lost in the pages and the world they create. The room is cozy, not small, with large bookshelves almost too big for the room and a crackling fireplace in front of me. The lighting is dim, mostly provided by little string lights, giving off a soft, warm golden glow. Yes, I know - reading in poor lighting is bad for my eyes, but it's not really poor lighting. It's beautiful, and so romantic, in the most innocent sense of the word. Outside, it's evening, and the sun is just going down, its last streaks fading from the sky. It's raining, big, fat drops, just hard enough that I can hear the patter of the raindrops hitting the roof, and the walls. Cars pass by, headlights shining through the windows, but I barely even notice as I'm engrossed in the magical little object sitting in my lap.
