Chapter 7

She staring me down the tips of her hair have just turned an intense shade of red and I know she is ready to go. There is a count down on the TV 5.4.3.2.......... I prepare myself, getting in my battle stance I quickly survey the room taking note of all the energies everyone is emanating. 1, she comes at me full force with a flurry of kicks and punches but I doge them all to easily that's when she connects her heel into my gut and I'm sent stumbling backwards with the wind nocked out of me, it takes a full two seconds to get my bearings. She comes at me again this time much faster but a bit more sloppy so I take advantage of her mistake and I do a spin kick and trip her she lands hard on her back that's when I realize that is what she wanted, she then uses her telekinesis to launch me up till I hit the ceiling and then drops me straight on my face. I realize that she will be relying heavily on strategy over brute strength. She goes to kick me while I'm down but I roll out of the way of her foot and then jump up on my feet, I take a quick look at the TV and see that I've lost 30Hp while she has only lost 5Hp we have 100 in total so so far she is winning. I look around one more time to check everyone's energies I notice Nyle's, its a light shade of green and it swirls like mist and I know what I need to do.

"You just gonna stand there or are you actually going to fight?" Lennox asks obviously trying to provoke me.

"Oh trust me, I haven't even started." I call back.

She rushes towards me again but as she enters the center of the ring I make several copies of myself enough to go around the entire ring then me and all my copies start to run in a circle around her after a few seconds we switch directions and once I'm sure she is completely disoriented we stop now she has about 10 targets and she has no idea which one to attack. I'm pleased with the look of confusion on her face. She finally decides on attacking something but is surprised when my copy poofs into smoke, she then throws a punch to the copy on her left which is lucky cause I was to her right, I take advantage of the fact that she has unintentionally turned her back to me, I quickly run up behind her and kick her in the back of her knee making her lose her balance I then give her a nice push making her face plant onto the floor she quickly stands up and my charade is up I let all my copies disappear.

"That was a cheap trick." She screams as she sends a right hook to my jaw but I'm able to block it with my left forearm and send my right elbow to her temple. I'm glad that we have the shields on us cause that last move would have caused her some serious damage. She stumbles backwards a bit so I check the TV to see our scores
She has 60Hp left while I have 70.

She straightens up and resumes her fighting position.

"Listen we don't have to continue this." I tell her but there is something about her expression that tells me she's not the kind of person to give up especially when they are trying to make a point.

She comes at me at full speed again and I prepare myself to deflect her attack but just as she gets within range she jumps right over me, no doubt using her telekinesis as a boost. As soon as she lands she kicks me in the back sending me flying forward her kick stronger then a normal human beings obviously she used her powers to strengthen her attack. Just before I hit the ground she stops me with her mind and sends me flying the other direction until my back hits the wall she holds me there for a second then drops me and I fall to the floor. The beating I just took from her was so powerful that I'm now at 40Hp and I know that if I'm going to beat her that it has to be in my next move I need her HP to go from 60 to 0.

I glance over to Alec and I realise how I'm going to win. Alec has the most mysterious energy of anyone I've ever met it's black but the darkest shade of black I have ever seen and it moves around him like the many tendrils of something ready to grab it's pray right before it devours it, but what do you expect from someone who can literally control shadows he can even make them real and shape them to the form he choose and right now that's what I need. I connect his energy to mine and then I stand up no one is aware of the fact that I am borrowing Alec's power not even him.

Lennox is in her fighting stance again ready to send her fist flying the light above us is causing her shadow to appear on the floor I start to will her shadow to move but instead of it coming to life and grabbing her from behind several tentacle like limbs burst out of her shadow and a terrible screeching sound starts to ring in my head and somewhere with in the painful screeching I can here Alec screaming but I can't make out what he is saying then everything goes black.
