I broke your heart

I shattered it in two but I still love you

After two years I cant stop showing it

I know I deserved the hit

I did it out of love and care

I hope this will clear the air

I gave you up because of another girl

I know she made your heart go for a whirl

She was one of my best friends

Even when you two hold hands

I gave you to her because of the look in your eyes

It was no surprise because they held no lies

You loved her the same as me

But I knew she was the key

She was your happiness more so than me

I knew you wanted to be with her instead

So I set your free from those chains

To give you the love your heart maintained

You are here for me there is no doubt

It makes my heart want to shout

For the friendship and love you gave me

So I set you free

No longer held with bonds by me

So you could be joyful and happy

We shared many laughs and good jokes

But this is not a hokes

You are my best friend

Forever and until the end

In these troubled times I hope I haven't made you second guess

Because of this huge mess

There is one secret I have yet to tell

And on my heart it shall dwell

Until this very day you will learn

The secret I shall tell

I am jealous

That's the secret in which I tell

Im jealous of her

For only one reason in which you should know

She has you and your love

But all the while I give my feelings a shove

Back into my mind far back no one can see

The only one who see's is me

From time to time they will emerge

And as I lie awake on my bed

They are spinning in my head

Telling me awful things that I could do

And one day have your love so true

I must shove these thoughts back once more

Though I fear the note will Lear

To take you away from your true love

And once again emotions are shoved

So in this note or poem I should say

My feelings again begin to sway

This is not meant to influence to tell you the truth

It is to tell you my feelings about you

I bet you have heard this one thousand times

But probably not in rhymes

I know I have told you these things once before

But I felt the need to say it once more

I know she would hate me If she read this

But it is a friend I would not miss

I hope I have cleared the air

Just remember im always there

I let your heart be true

And don't let this note confuse you

I know these feelings I have will not pass

Because you loved me like no one else has
