I've lived on Opie road all my life. Its never changing except for the occasional new neighbor. This is the place where I have slept, played, and had many amazing dinners with my family. We have a one story house that is sided with brick with a white paneling on top, and a large green roof. A small swing hangs from the side where I spend most my days when I'm not playing softball. It's a quiet place a place where I can read and listen to music of many types. The floors are shiny and freshly polished. The smell of dinner wafting through the house as my grandmother cooks. This house is filled with so many memories good and bad. This house has seen more tears than can be counted. This is the home in which I would like to stay in forever. To raise my children and then grandchildren. I would tell them the stories that occurred in this old brick house. I would tell them of the sorrows and joys that this house so desperately wishes to tell. At night when I try sleep I can hear the old walls and floors creaking and moaning trying to tell their story so that the memory of this house may live on. The memory of the house on Opie Road.
