My eyes shot open, darting around the room in a panic. I sat up quickly, snapping my head in every direction, trying to figure out where the hell I was. I was covered in sweat, and shaking a bit, with a little amount of tears falling from my blue eyes. I was breathing heavily and scared out of my mind. I come to realize that I was only in my small, messy room. I gave out a heavy sigh.
Another nightmare.
What's been going on with me lately? Its like I have nightmares every single freakin' night. And the strange thing is, its always the same nightmare. Never different. Right down to the last detail, everything is exactly the same. I'm walking in the woods with a... friend, and then all of a sudden he disappears. No where to be found. Then I hear a strange shout. But its not a normal shout. Its a shout that indicates fear, and death. I start breathing heavy and turn around to see that friend of mine lying on the ground, covered in blood, with his insides ripped apart. Then there's a weird growling sound coming from behind a thick tree. My teary eyes, wet from crying, focused on that thing hiding behind that tree and I come to realize that whatever it is, it isn't human. I run away screaming for help, but then that thing catches up to me, grabs me by the arm, pulls me to face it, then slits my throat open. Then bam, I wake up. Its quite frightening, really. And to make it worse, I have it every single night. And it never changes. Ever.
"Darian! Are you just going to sit there like an idiot, or get up and get ready for school?" my younger little brat of a sister, Ashley, shouted at me from the other side of the room, snapping me out of deep thought. God, you have no idea how much it sucks to share a room with your little sister.
"Shut up, Ashley." I sighed, pulling the zebra print covers back over my blonde curly hair. I don't feel like dealing with her right now.
"Well, if you don't get up, I'm telling mom." she threatened.
"Do it, and I'll suffocate you in your sleep." I threatened back lazily. I'm really not in the mood for all this.
"Mom! Darian wont get out of bed! And she said she'll kill me in my sleep!" she shouted while running out the room, I'm guessing to the kitchen.
"Darian, do you plan on going to school today?" my mom shouted from the kitchen as Ashley walked back in the room.
"Yes, mom!" I shouted back.
"Then get out of bed. Now. And stop threatening your sister!"
"But, mom-"
"Do it again, and your grounded!"
I groaned in annoyance.
"Do you understand me, young lady?"
"Yes, mother." I sighed as I got out of bed. I glared at Ashley, hating that stupid grin on her face.
"Is there anything you'd like to say to me, big sister?" Ashley snickered.
"Brat." I hissed.

"Hey, Dawen." my best friend, Brianna, or otherwise known as Marcy, greeted me in that little baby voice we do.
"Hey, Banna." I sighed.
"You okay?" she asked, concerned.
"Yeah... I'm fine. Just had a rough night."
"Another nightmare?" she furrowed her eye brows.
"Not just another nightmare, Brianna. The same nightmare."
"Wanna talk about it?"
"Nah, we've talked about it enough." I looked down to the ground, thinking about that horrid nightmare.
"Okay..." she said, almost unsurely.
It was quiet for a brief moment. I was deep in my thoughts about that horrorfying nightmare, while she just stood there staring at me with her brown eyes filled with concern. Then suddenly, she perked up with a strange smile on her face. Uh oh... I know what that smile means.
"Dawen, look who's walking this way." she hooked her hands her back pockets and nudged me with her elbow.
I looked up to see two very attractive guys walking our way. One is my crush, one is her crush. I sighed lightly, not noticing the red blush forming on my cheeks.
"Really? Is it really necessary to inform me on every little thing they do?" I asked, trying to hide the smile creeping onto my lips, and failing horribly.
"Yes, its actually very necessary." she smirked as they walked passed us.
"Hey, Brianna." her crush, Justin, smiled at her.
"Hey, Justin. Jordan, did you forget how to speak? Or is it just the word hi that's unfamiliar to you?" she joked at my crush, Jordan. He laughed that unbelievably adorable laugh of his.
"Hello, Brianna. Is that better?" he chuckled, with his attractive Hispanic accent ringing throughout his voice.
"Hmm... it was okay. It would be better if both of you gave me a hug." she smirked.
Oh god Brianna, can you not?
They laughed and hugged her while I stood awkwardly behind her. Justin then looks at me, then all of a sudden guilt shows on his perfect face.
"Oh... sorry, Darian. I didn't see you there. Hey."
"Its okay... Hey."
"What? Do you want a hug too?" he laughed.
Yes, I would love a hug.... just not from you.
"Uhh... sure." I shrugged.
He hugged me, while Jordan was chatting with Brianna. Soon enough, the hug was over, the chat was over, and the boys walked away to their first class together.
"Damn it." I cursed under my breath while slightly banging my head against a near by wall.
"What?" Brianna asked, confused.
"Did you see that? He completely ignored me. Its like he doesn't even know I exsist."
"Oh, quiet you. I'm sure he knows you exsist." she rolled her eyes.
I decided not to respond to that, not wanting to go further into that conversation.
" You should get to class." I said, looking at the time on my phone.
"Alright. See you at lunch." she smiled, walking off to her first period.
I let out a heavy sigh. Great. Time for band. Where my stalker is. I got off the wall I was leaning on, and walked down the hall to the band room. I entered the room just as the late bell rang. Thank god, I'm not late.

I woke up with a loud gasp, and darted my eyes around the room in a panic, trying to see if I was safe. Everyone in class was staring at me as if I had just killed somebody.
Way to fall asleep in class, Darian.
Same nightmare. Every time I close my eyes... I see Jordan dead, then I end up dying. What the hell does this nightmare mean? Why wont it stop?
