Finally time to go home. I needed to watch that movie with my mom, ASAP. I was walking towards my bus, texting Brianna and not looking where I was walking. I bumped into someone, again, and fell to the floor.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." I apologized as I was helped off the ground.
"Its alright. I should be the one apologizing. I knocked you to the floor twice in one day."
Twice in one day? Jordan.
I looked up to see Jordan smiling back at me. I awkwardly smiled.
"Uh..." I said, unsure of what to say.
"Who ya' texting?" he asked me.
"Oh, just texting Brianna. That's why I walked into you."
"Tell her I said hi. And here." he handed me a sheet of paper.
"What's this?" I asked, unfolding the paper in my hand. It said in sloppy hand writing:
645-8433 <<< Jordan's number. Text me?
I was speechless. He actually just gave me his number. I stared at the paper, as if I was frozen.
"Text me later. okay?" he said while slowly walking away.
"Okay." I said weakly as he disappeared into the crowd of students.
I have to tell Brianna about this.

"Momma I'm home!" I shouted while placing my backpack on the floor and picking up one of my cats.
"Alright!" she shouted from her bedroom.
I walked inside and sat on her bed with Grey, my cat, laying on my stomach.
"Mom, we should watch the movie today." I suggested.
"Sorry, not today."
"What? Why?" I groaned. I had to watch the movie today!
"I'm going out with your father. Maybe tomorrow, okay?"
"Okay." I sighed.
Great...a delay in my plan. I could be dead by tomorrow. But she didn't know that, and I don't plan on her knowing. Not yet, anyway.

My parents have been gone for hours. They should be on their way home, by now. I was sitting on my couch, watching Devin and Ashley play Injustice on PS3. Ashley was winning, and Devin was complaining about loosing, as always. It was funny to watch.
"Cat Women wins." the tv stated, causing Ashley to mock Devin about her winning.
They argued, while I got a call from an unknown number. I hesitated to answer it, but around the third ring, I decided to answer.
"Hello?" I said into the phone.
"Hello, may I speak to Darian Fox please?" the stranger on the phone asked politely.
"Speaking." I said.
"Oh. Darian, your Kathy Fox and Michael Fox's daughter, right?" the lady asked.
"Correct. Why, what happened?" I asked. My heart started beating faster than usual. What happened to my parents?
"I'm sorry to inform you but your parents got in a car accident."
I felt like the whole world froze. Tears started falling from out my eyes, and I couldn't move. My parents were hurt. Possibly dead. I didn't know what to do, or say. They were on their way home... they were suppose to be here... they have kids that love them...
