Kevin's pov

Kevin has a tablet and and pen writing down his feelings and this is what he had to say.

Kevin: Dear Stephen and Sabrina, I love the both you. To my oldest son Stephen I am proud of the man you have become, taking care of your mother for me. I am thankful and blessed that you are my son, my father was never around and now I realized I did the same to you and your sister, when your mother told me that I could never see you both ever again I gave up and I'm happy I saw that story on the news, it turns out we lived 8 hours away from each other. You are my son you are a reflection of me, you look just like me, I love you to the end of the earth and back. To my beautiful daughter Sabrina, I'm sorry for making you a fatherless child you and Stephen mean everything to me. I know you are old enough to understand that your mother and I were going in different directions in life. But I want you to know that I have never changed my love for you.Your my sweet Sadie thats the nickname I gave you when you were born that's the name I have tattooed on my wrist. You kids are my everything and I promise I'm going to make up for all the years I have missed with yall.   Love, Your Dad

Officer: Inmate, your lawyer is here. Come on.

( They walked to the visiting room to see Tasker with a smile on his face)

Sargent Tasker: Officer my client is going to the court house to take a DNA test and a court order right after.. Put him in a nice suit.

Kevin: How did you make this happen?

Sargent Tasker: I pulled some strings and I told you to consider it done. Lets get you to the free world. 

Author: The Skinner family some what family has came back home from New York. And we know it's around 2:30 in the afternoon. And they got off the plane and they are home now in their separate rooms. Stephen is in his room, sitting and thinking and just writing out his feelings. Charles and Ashley are in their room. But Ashley has been thinking about Sabrina ever since she found out she was pregnant. And she asked hi one last time about it, before he went in the shower.

Ashley: Charlie....

Charles: Yes, Ash. 

(Ashley walked to her dresser with her back turned to Charles)

Ashley: About Sabrina. Are you sure you know that Kevin raped her?

Charles: Why are you asking me this now? You should have asked me this shit when we sent that scum of a rapist to the place where he belongs. I'm taking a shower..... ( he walks to the bathroom door and he turns around very close to Ashley's face and Charles is red in the face) Hold on. You don't have the right to ask me anything, your the one who acts like everything is good and well. Your kids are your problem, I'm tired of dealing with everything. I deal with your ungrateful kids and their mood swings, then I come home to you talking me ear off about the kids and the worst thing is we haven had sex in months. And you think you have a right to ask questions. Just shut up. Shut the hell up. 

Ashley: You act as if all of this is my fault, I didn't chose for Sabrina to get pregnant. I didn't chose for my son to be in the hospital for 3 months almost. You barely show them any attention..

( Charles turns around and punches a hole in the wall)

Charles: Shut up!!

Author: Charles walked out of the room with rage and anger he  went downstairs to his car and drove off. Stephen ran to his mom's room out of a peaceful nap, ready to protect his mom.

Stephen: Mom! Mom are you ok?!

Ashley: Yes, but I cant say the same for Charles.

Stephen: Just dont worry about him, let him cool down.

( At the court house)

Tasker: This is Lenny he will be asking the questions, you will answer them honestly, and we will get the results in a hour before we have court.

Kevin: Ok... Lets do this.

Author: The hooked up Kevin to the equipment that was necessary and Lenny asked him 2 questions that were crucial to his fate.

Lenny: Kein, did you rape your daughter?

Kevin: No.

Lenny: Kevin, Do you know who did rape your daughter?

Kevin: Yes.

Lenny: Thanks you Kevin. You are one honest man. You won your case. Your innocent.

Tasker: Now, lets get ready for court.

( Back at Ashley's house)

Author: Ashley is getting ready to go to court to hear the sentencing for Kevin, and she dressed in a all black. She saw Sabrina and Stephen dressed to go with her.

Ashley: Now, look you two are not going with me. I dont want you to hear this. But Sabrina I definitely dont want you to go you are so far along.  I am only 5 months, I am fine.

Stephen takes his moms hand and said

Stephen: Now you have to trust us, come on we can handle it.

Ashley: Ok, ok. If you say so.

( court hearing)

Police man: In the case of the state of California vs Kevin Mackenzie. Judge Crenshaw.

Crenshaw: Why are we here, gentleman.

Tasker: (stands up) We think the state has falsely accused Mr.Mackenzie about the incident.

Crenshaw: And what proof of it do you have?

Tasker: Earlier today my client took a lie dector test. And that is the proof.

Crenshaw: Did he pass?

Tasker: May I approach the bench? (Crenshaw nodded and Tasker handed her the envelop)

(Crenshaw opens the envelope and reads the results. Kevin turned around and he looked and saw his children, and Ashley.)

Crenshaw: Well. It is my right to uphold the law. And may the defendant and plaintiff rise. I find this case dismissed. Mr. Mackenzie you are a free man and on be half of the state we are sorry for keeping you in holding on a count of he say she say. But i have one question to ask you. Who molested your daughter?

Kevin: Your honor, I believe it was.... Charles Skinner. The man who is raising my children. Your honor.

Crenshaw: Case dismissed. Thank you.

Author: Kevin went and hugged his children, and then he had to come face to face with Ashley so they just stared at each other and Ashley had no words, she just looked in shocked.... Kevin hugged Ashley and Ashley started crying and she said 

Ashley: I'm sorry.... I am so sorry Kevin. I don't know how I let this happen?

Kevin: It's fine.. And it's done.. Lets go home.

Author: Charles is driving and has been driving all day and he starts to cry and its like a movie is going on in his head he starts to see everything that he has done since and everything that was done to him. He got so upset he was driven by anger and he closed his eyes for a second and in that second he ran into another car and he filliped 6 times his car landed upside down in the about 2 miles down the street.
