I ran until my paws hurt to stand so I just lay where I stopped. Finally.
You do know we've been running around our town for the past week right? My wolf pants.
Huh? What are you talking about? We're supposed to be hundreds of miles away by now! I said just as breathlessly.
You wanted to run dumbo, not run away. He says with as much sass as any gay wolf could muster.
And why didn't you mention something earlier oh wise one. I muttered sarcastically.
Because you needed this. You need to heal Jesse. You can't continue to run yourself ragged trying to fix every potential bully. Jesse we have a beautiful mate waiting for us. mom and dad are talking to us again. What else do you want?
I don't know. What if Eric hates me? After what I did?. I asked.
He wouldn't hate us. We're his as he is ours. But only one way to find out. My wolf whispered.
You're right. Maybe we should head back. I stood. Strength renewed I scented the air and followed the familiar scent of our town.
We ran only stopping to take down a deer and drink from a stream. We were in familiar woods about an hour away from town when the buzzing I always felt whenever Eric was around came. Why the hell would Eric be out here.
What the heck? My wolf asks when the buzzing became stronger heading into Berserkers' territory.
Maybe he's there with Marcellus? Zachariah is mated to him. I said following the energy we felt.
Let's be careful, I smell another wolf mingled with our mate's scent. I grunted in agreement and followed our nose. We laid flat when we heard grunts and snapping twigs. We belly crawled closer.
"going to tell on me were you?" a she wolf snarled. Crawling even closer until we could see, a she wolf partially shifted had Eric pressed against a tree trunk while she shredded his clothes.
"I told you no!" Eric whimpers.
What is going on? Why isn't Eric shifting. He could easily take her. My wolf says in disbelief.
I don't think Eric knows how to. I mumbled taking in the fear in Eric's eyes. Tears streaming.
"I told you what would happen if you did! I told you!" the she wolf growled pushing Eric down onto his back. "you're nothing but a paid whore. You do this all the time don't you" she chuckled ripping off her panties and straddling Eric.
"I didn't want to do those things! I didn't! They made me!" Eric whimpered.
They forced him.
Eric looked so vulnerable. Like a child. I growled low in my throat when the she wolf started fondling Eric. We crept around to a good position to attack.
We leapt at her throat. Throwing her off Eric. She crouched and snarled. Hmm. Beta...
We snarled when Eric started sobbing. We crouched, the hairs on the back of our neck stood on end. We stalked around Eric, blocking him from the she wolf.
"ah! You're his mate" she growled.
We didn't wait. We went for her throat again. She ducked and kicked our side. We snarled and landed on our feet.
The she wolf shifted fully and rushed at us. We leapt to the right and snapped our jaws on her hind leg snapping it. She whined and snarled. Scratching at our face.
Releasing the limb we leapt at her throat again and squeezed hard when we got hold of her scruff instead. We tore through the flesh there, blood leaking down onto our nuzzle.
We pinned her down while she gasped for air. We shifted back to human and I punched her in the face. She let out a yelp before going limp. I stood over her for a few moments before Eric's whimpers reached my ears.
I ran to him. He was curled into a ball hiding his nakedness as best he could.
"Eric" I whispered touching his trembling shoulder lightly. He froze for a second before throwing his body at me. I caught him and held him to me tightly as new sobs wracked his body.
"shh.. It's ok baby. You're safe now" I whispered in his ear as I rocked him gently.
I used the pack link to contact my Alpha. I explained quickly what happened and gave him our location.
"I swear I didn't want to do those things Jesse!" he cried.
"I know honey, I know" I whispered.
He was attached to me like a koala. Picking him up securely I found a stash of clothes and helped him put on a pair of shorts and one for myself. I carried him back and sat leaning against a tree. We waited until my pack broke through the trees. Both my Alpha and Zachariah was leading the Warriors.
"Eric! My baby!" Marcellus' mom screamed rushing to us.
"he's alright" I murmured to her while she checked him over for injury like he truly was her son.
"what happened here. This is one of my future betas" Zachariah growled.
"your she wolf kidnapped my mate Alpha and she would have raped him if I didn't arrive on time" I snarled at the unconscious she wolf.
"s-she touched me last night. I told her no. I was going to tell you tomorrow like Celine told me to but she grabbed me at the party and brought me here" Eric whimpers burying his head in my chest.
"oh god! Eric!" Marcellus busts through the trees with a female pup hot on his heals.
"Marcellus! Celine! What-what are doing here?" Eric asks climbing off my lap and got enveloped in a hug by the both of them.
"Marcellus! I told you to stay with the packs" Zachariah growls.
"don't talk to me like that. Eric is my brother, off course I'd be here" Marcellus snarled at his Alpha mate and turned a sweet smile toward Eric. I swear he looked positively bi polar. Zachariah glares at his mate's head while Marcellus flipped him off.
"can we go home now?" Eric mumbled.
"yea" Marcellus and Celine tried to guide him towards the direction they came from but he broke from them and jumped at me again. His legs and arms going around my front.
"take me home Jesse" he mumbled before passing out.
