"I'M SORRY," they both said in unison.

"No T give me a minute and just listen to me. You don't got nothing to be sorry about alright this was my fault, I shouldn't have snapped the way I did, you ain't deserve that. So what if you didn't wanna come to an event with me I know how you feel about things like that and I shouldn't have gotten upset over something so small."

"Tyrese I-" she tried speaking but got cut off.

He pulled her into him and wrapped his arms around, "I wasn't thinking about your feelings and I'm sorry." He practically begged her as he hugged her.

She stared at him with a small smirk on her face, "Can I talk now?" she asked.

He nodded his head as she continued. "You're not the only one at fault this time, okay I'm sorry too.-"

"What you sorry for?" He asked as she gave him that 'really nigga' look. "My bad" Tyrese said after he realized he interrupted her.

"Like I was saying, I'm sorry too. I know how important this night was to you. I always say that I didn't wanna do public events with anyone unless there was a ring on my finger. But in the back of my mind when you asked me I actually wanted to go with you to the awards, cause I thought it was different with us. Then I started second guessing myself and I honestly got scared cause I thought it wouldn't work."

"Don't ever be scared with me, I gotchu." He said reassuringly.

She chuckled as she hugged him back and looked into his eyes "Whatever this is" referring to each other "I like being with you and I'm willing to still do this with you if you are."

"I'll do whatever it is you ask me to do and then some! I just wanna make you happy Taraji, just promise me this." He kissed her forehead

"What is it?"

"Next time you feel some type of way, lemme know what's up and we can talk about it, we not gon keep secrets from each other. Let's try not to argue anymore, cause I was going through hell without you." He laughed lightly

"Awwww okay, I promise to try my hardest." She stuck out her pinky and they pinky swore and then she started to walk back towards the house.

"Hol' up T, we not finish yet!" He jogged up the stairs to catch up with her. "Don't leave come with me to the awards tonight it'll be fun I promise."

"Ummm I don't know Ty, I mean this is kinda a huge step for us."

"Come on woman don't make me beg, you got enough time to go home and get dressed."

"I don't have to go home my clothes already in the car."

"Oh! So you just knew we was gon make up huh?" He ask putting a tiny smirk on her face.

"Yea boy you ain't know I was physic." She said with a light laugh.

"I thought Ms. Taraji P Henson would've been too busy to hang out with me." He dramatically waved his hands in the air.

"You know I'm 'never too busy' for you." She smiled and pulled him into her and kissed him.
