4 years later.

March

(Hazel POV)

"Here, take another. It's fine by me." I smiled at Cathrine.

Cathrine was one of Danielle's friends mum's. We got along pretty well, just like our daughters did.

I had just baked some muffins, and now I was handing them out to the girls and Cathrine, clearly.

"Thanks." Cathrine said, taking a muffin and nibbling away at it as I sat down on the chair facing her.

I picked my coffee up and took a sip.

"So." Cathrine began. "How is Sam?"

I smiled. "He's okay, thanks for asking. He's in Germany somewhere at the moment, playing at a couple of venues then a festival I think. I spoke to him last night on the phone for about an hour. He seemed okay, he said it was chilly though."

"Good to hear." She smiled. "And how are you? Haven't seen you in a while, so it's good to be  catching up with you."

I chuckled a little. "Well, at the moment I'm okay. Just taking each day as it comes really. I was away for a while, getting some help, and Dani was on tour with her dad for a little bit, just while I recollected myself. I mean. The loss of someone is hard, but the loss of a close friend. It shook me really."

I felt the tears stinging in my eyes, ready for me to scream again, but I couldn't do it. I stopped myself, I wasn't going to allow myself to cry again. Definetly not around Danielle and her friend.

Cathrine gave me a slight smile, more like a smile to say 'it's okay, i understand.'

"How did the funeral go?" She then asked.

I smiled a little, now that caused a tear to escape, but it was okay, I wiped it away and replied. "It was lovely. Very upsetting, like most funerals are, but it hit home a little more I think. It was nice, everyone got to say their good-bye one at a time, then we all said it together by singing really."

"That's lovely then." Cathrine smiled, taking a sip of her coffee also.

You're probably wondering who passed away. It was Oscar, he became very ill on tour towards the end of last year, then two months ago he passed away unexpectedly.

FLASH BACK - November - Rachel POV

"Oscar!" Joey called.

We had been looking for him for over two hours, he was meant to be at the practice but he hadn't shown his face at all. It wasn't unlike him to not show up.

The band had grown so much ever since Hazel had left, which was a good thing, we needed to be known, we had been through so much hard work to get to where we were.

But the bad thing about it was that the fame went to Oscar's head a little, he'd spend most of his days wondering around in a daze with a bottle of whiskey in his right hand and a splif in the other.

We became worried, he got into sex, drugs and rock 'n roll too quickly, and he just over used them all.

"I'm getting tired of his shit. He's out of the fucking band if he pulls another dick move like this again, do you hear me?!" Joey moaned at me.
