it's been 6 months. half a year since you left. now i'm positive you're not going to come back. the newspaper's headline today had "boy still missing after 6 months' in big bold letters on the front cover.

people are still looking for you, you know? you made such a big impact on this town. the news struck everyone. remember that one time we were at the park and a little girl couldn't find her mommy? you called everyone you knew and got them on the search for her mom. the little girl gave you her chocolate bar she had and gave you a kiss on the cheek for helping her.

sometimes it feels like all the songs on the radio were written for us. for our story.
