So much for a name.

Place: Physics laboratory

Time: 13 45

Objective: You can count me in.

"Un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit, neuf, dix, onze, douze, treize..."

I was in the physics laboratory, counting the oscillations of my bob, when you know who decided to disturb.

"Hey!"

"You just messed up my counting! I have to start all over again. Can you not talk for a while please?"

Blaze looked at me sheepishly and replied, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. I just finished with my experiment."

I grabbed the bob of my pendulum, put it back in position and pressed reset on my stopwatch. It was my turn with experiment 3, as you have already guessed concerned the oscillations. It was a tad bit annoying especially when someone (I'm of course blaming that idiot!) starts talking when you are in the middle of counting the to and fro motion of that round sphere called bob.

Our teacher, Mrs. Subhadu, was in the front helping Yushi with her experiment. She was a pleasant young lady who has an undying passion for physics. She runs the physics department alongside her husband Mr. Subhadu, Miss. Nowjee and Mr. Armoogum, all remarkable teachers I must add. This school has a huge luck on the physics department. These teachers form the undeniably best physics teaching team in the whole world.

"Hey, stop zoning out on me again," said Blaze while poking my head.

"What do you want?" I replied as I finished taking my last experimental values.

"That's a stupid question! I want your name, did you forget?" he replied.

"Oh!" was my obvious answer (the boy was getting to my nerves, but it was time to get it over with, well not without messing up a bit.)

"Yeah: 'OH!' I am waiting," he answered.

"Do I have to? I haven't really told anyone my name before"

"It is to me. Be nice! I don't want to keep addressing you as hey or whatever."

"I have a simple solution for that Blaze, stop talking to me."

"Ha-Ha! not funny at all. I am waiting."

"What?"

"Tell me your name, for God's sake!"

"Alright, no need to get your panties in a twist big boy," I took a humongous deep breath and said "My name is Cash. Cash Astrid Jensen."

"Wow, so much for a name! Can you tell me what the fuss in telling me your name was?"

"Well, first, you sort of invaded my personal bubble by trespassing that invisible wall around me."

"I'm actually proud of it when you put it that way. It is an honor to be the first to know your name dear Cash."

"It is only one way round boy. It would be a greater honor though if you stopped talking to me but I know that won't be happening anytime soon. Blame that on my lucky stars. (Please do notice the high level of sarcasm)"

"You're starting to know me," the imbecile replied with a huge smile.

"Yeah, malhereusement, c'est la verite."

It didn't seem that I could wipe that horrible charming smile off his lips anytime soon. However something was pushing me to ask him, "Why did you want to really know my name anyway?"

"You finally ask the big question. No scratch that, you already did that before," was his intelligent answer (intelligent my foot).

"So, do answer the question. I did justice by answering yours after all." It was the best sarcastic comeback I could come up with, blame it on the boy, he was too handsome for his own good.

"You have something I need."

I froze in my place. Either he knew something that he shouldn't or he was going mental.

"You hardly know me, how can you say that? Does something I have interest you?"

"It's not a thing that interest me, silly girl, it's one of your qualities. Also, I don't mind taking a girl like you out? What do you say?"

I ignored the second part of his reply. This, I must admit, made me dumbstruck. One of the unwritten rules of this school is to never ever share or compare the qualities of a student. The teachers were of course an exceptional case but this was never done among students. I found that out on my very first week here. Each student has his own self-esteem and at the same time ought to respect others. By talking about each other's qualities, we would be either degrading the other or destroying their self-esteem and here was this devilishly handsome boy, going against one of the student's code. I must admit, he has some guts. (Not that I am impressed, pffftt, never, not at all.)

Just to act as if this didn't rouse my curiosity at all, I took on my best cold voice and replied, "What about them?"

I must say, I could be a great actress. I actually felt the room's temperature lose a few degrees (gosh, that made me feel better, you go girl!).

Blaze took me by surprise again by saying something I did not expect. In my opinion no one would have thought that.

"I need your help," was his awesome answer.

You could imagine my reaction (I was wondering if the boy was trying to kill me now?), that boy was definitely trying to give me a heart attack. Why the hell would a student of such a brilliant school ask for help?

"Let me hear your plea," I replied solemnly. I was curious of what he was up to and what was going on in that mind of his!

Blaze straightened his back and looked straight into my eyes.

"I heard that you were brilliant at computing. I need your help to find the hacker."

"You mean Bluespider?"

"Exactly! You catch up fast," he replied with a pinch of humor.

"But you already created that stupid club of yours to find that person."

"I know that, he replied, but I need the most brilliant students to be able to trace up to Bluespider. He covers up his path and fakes his location at every turns. He's damn good at what he does!"

Here he goes again. I felt great pride in hearing him compliment me but it was laced with annoyance with the fact that he thought I was a boy. Come on, girls rock now. Go woman power!

I continued listening intently.

"It's hard to find him. I know that from experience," he continued.

Wait a second!

"What do you mean my experience?" I asked immediately.

"I have been trying to find him for a few years now," he replied.

That phrase took me by surprise. He has been trying to find me, but why? It was no surprise that people wanted to know who Bluespider was but they usually gave up after a few months, what was with the years factor?

"Why do you need Bluespider anyways," I asked the question that was burning my lips.

"Just help me in finding Bluespider, you'll find out sooner or later. But most probably later, when I learn to trust you."

"Awww Blazey, and here I thought we were now awesome friends," I was frustrated by his lack of information.

"So, what do you say Cash?" he replied calmly.

I was definitely sticking around to find out what was the big deal. What does he have on me exactly? How long and how deep has he been looking? Blaze, you have no idea who you approached I thought with a wicked smile.

"You can count me in." I replied finally as the bell rang.
