i believe that, everything in life is temporary; friendships, relationship. people. they come and go. but that's okay. this is life.

i've seen so many people that come and left, of course that shit hurts. been through them a lot of times. all these things hurt me a lot that i finally get the quote "you've become so damaged that when someone tries to give you what you deserve, you have no idea how to respond"all i can say is fake people doesn't surprise me anymore. loyal people do.

well that shit aside, yet, i am thankful with everything i have now, i have two amazing friends that makes me happy. they've seen the good and the bad side of me. after going through a lot, im surprised they still put up with me no matter what.

"Malia to earth, earth to Malia. Pay attention"ms Rachel snapped me out. Shit i was daydreaming again am i?

I just gave a little nod making sure i am paying attention. And then i look down on my table. Looking back at the clock..there's still half an hour to go. i sighed as i slumped in my own seat.

"Hey Malia, psst!"

No more distractions, i want to focus. Without notice, i felt a paper tossed over my head and fell to the ground. I turned to see my classmate, Calum, leaning in his seat with his both hands at the back of his head. Legs overlapped each other. Looking at me and smirking. God that kid is always annoying me. i rolled my eyes and mouthed"What do you want?"

"Hiiii" he waved and wink at me.

Calum and i are just neutral. He's known as the famous football player in the team. Also known as the "asshole"for girls. He is also my neighbour and our family are quite close. Quite protective too, we always looked over each other and help each other. Apparently, i'm closer to his older sister, Mali.

I turn back in my seat ignoring Calum behind. Looking at the time, few more minutes till a month break!

I'm glad its the end of the day right now, im so hyped up for the holidays! Also a month break from school is to have our own study for the upcoming exams when school reopens, which means i have to bring some books home. Also, i have to go back to school for some volleyball practices. Damn, this is so not 'holidays'if you still have to go back to school.

"Woah there someones lookin'all stressed out"i heard someone spoke from behind. "Whatsup?"Calum casually puts his arms around me.

What the hell is this guy's problem. We're not even close. Barely even talk in school..now he's acting like he knows me since born. He have this stupid beanie on and again with the matching scarfs to his beanie. Does it look like fuckin' winter when it's scortching hot outside? Idiot.

I slapped his arms away from me, he furrowed his eyebrows at me.

"is it necessary to wear those when it's like burning outside?"i scoffed.

"no..these are my favourites so don't mock me"he rolled his eyes. "those are pretty" he look over my hand which have some bracelets.

"alright, what are you? What do you want?"i asked him, slightly irritated.

He huffs, "i need your help"shuffling on his own pair of black converse.

"what "help"?"

"the game tonight, you coming?"he asks

"um no"

"well i need you to come"

"for what?"

"i need you to pretend to be my girlfriend. Alright? I know this sounds stupid but you know Ashley? God she's all over me even after I dumped her and she won't stop calling me and she's gonna come tonight and i need YOU to just meet me before game"he gasps for air from talking much, "please?"

Heres the thing, we always help each other which means in other hand i have to return the favour. And Calum have this puppy eyes and it just suits him that he's also doing it right now with his pink lips pouted.

"fine, what time?" his face instantly lights up, that small pout turns into a smiley Calum. God he's so annoying.

"7. Just text me when you're there."he begin walking to his group of friends who's walking their way here. "and oh-thank you!" he winks.

a/n: alright to all people who have read the previous chapters from the beginning, im sorry i feel like rewriting this story. i deleted everything and im working on this right now. i hope you guys would still read this eventhough everything is different. yes i changed the character's name to Malia. i'm going to update often on this because i haven't been on this for so long. so i hope you guys forgive me for deleting the previous chapters. i hope you guys keep reading xoxo
